Yeah rockstar listened to the whiners and made it so you get a shirt you need until you have them all. Thrill of the hunt: gone.

I'm inclined to agree with that sentiment, but previously the shirts rotated by the hour or some time increment.

 

The way it should be is truly random for every crate.

Special crates actually do fall outside of events, they're generally just rare.

The liklihood is they will be dropping continuously with the shirt inside changing every week. If this is true then we are going to be seeing these crates long after ill gotten gains part 2. Maybe for the next month or so.

This new update has me thinking since they are including dlc from the independence day dlc,possibly the beer-hats might get included in the crate drops,just a theory at this point

I want to tell anyone still looking for a beer hat to keep an eye on special crates this weekend,there is a small chance that they may drop them,although there has been no confirmation by rockstar.Now i just picked up a crate with nothing in it which means the item is still the enema 0/fake enema shirt but this could change possibly.If anyone gets a beer hat feel free to post a pick or at least inform me so i will update the 1st post thank you.

I know that but since the ID dlc is on they may sneak them in since they are a very popular item.Dont hurt to look right

You could be right.Im not trying to give any false hope but i would hate to see ppl neglect they were dropping,only to find out they could have gotten one

CancerCityMadMan is right, there is a "chance" R* might sneakly add the beer hats in over the weekend

so it's worth checking.

 

I think its unlikely but remember we found out about the shirt before the newswire post...

I assume the remaining Tees will drop next weekend after the DLC, so if they are going to do Beer Hats it'll be starting today/tomorrow IMO. The fact they haven't turned Free Roam event frequency down suggests one or both weekends will have crates.

No, it's still the 0 Enema shirt. I picked up a crate about an hour ago and it contained the same sh*t (money, RP, Minigun, & armor). No new items.

 

It's been dropping for almost two weeks. lol

I would guess its because there was no item listed on the crate contents menu.

 

I'm guessing it will show nothing if you have the item already, I am certainly going to check out a crate drop in a short

while once I get home from work and see as I have one character created after Xmas who doesn't have any of the crate

items so therefore should be able to find out if any hats are dropping by playing that character.

I got a crate 15 minutes ago and no special item.

Of course, I already have all six beer hats and the SoH shirt, so if the no-duplicates system is still working, I wouldn't know if the crate contained one.
