They aren't even hackers they're nothing but packet kiddies/script kiddies. Takes zero effort to flood a server to get it to crash if you have the resources to do so.

To be fair, the pr team probably went to check on progress, and got their heads ripped off by the tech guys who have to work during their Christmas holidays.

Aaaand no, PS3 UI looks entirely different from PS4 UI. See, it even says "PS4" Under "Grand Theft Auto V ... Complications"

I've got a xbox360 hidden somewhere, actually I saw it for the first time in six years last week. Those original 360s were such junk we just never used it for fear of unreliability.

Just a little update.

I was just able to sign into PSN in Ontario, Canada.

3:10am and am now into GTAO

I was able to sign in to PSN on PS3, now in invite only session GTA Online.

We may be back in business!

 

Is a start. Although bear in mind PSN for PS3 and GTA Online for PS3 were working until Sony deliberately took all PSN Servers Offline for maintenance so it stands to reason once they went through any start up procedures for these Servers they would start working again immediately as their functionality was not originally compromised.

 

PS4 on the other hand could be a while Off yet for all Regions (unless anyone can confirm otherwise).

 

Edit: Joined Invite Only Session on PS4.

It is like some people aren't at their tvs waiting for it to come back online.

 

I can confirm that i am....loading online 20%...30%...40%...damn this is slow...60%....70%....it might...wait i am online ps4. no snow.

Thursday was because of LS, Today it's because of maintenance

No problem. But where's my codes, damn it? Is it random pick from the userbase?

Signed back in on my PS4, Massachusetts. Went to go buy some Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate DLC and the wallet funding as well as purchase went through.
