just an after thought as well, in all of this hype, i genuinely feel sorry for the guys at sony and microsoft who have also had the xmas holidays cut short away from their families due to having to be in the office to fix the systems for so many ungrateful gamers

 

im not expecting rockstar to offer an extended date gift set but it would be nice if they did, if anything, any offers should come from sony and microsoft

This is the Error code I am getting on PS4, which I believe is the same for most people:

 

NW-31456-9
NW-31448-0 Connection error

character transfer

join friends

join crew members

crews

creator

choose character

play GTA online

 

play GTA online:

go

invite only session

crew session

closed crew session

closed friend session

solo session

 

GO

files required to play GTA online could not be downloaded from the rockstar games service

please return to grand theft auto v and tray again later.

 

the bits in bold are normal, the other options are faded ie i cant select them

any crew options are not available but friends sessions are? although not working, this still seems a little odd

SONY have taken PSN Offline to fix the issue and investigate what actually happened PlayStation Supports Knowledge Center has a RED Banner on every page saying PSN Status: Offline

yep cos IT staff work so fukin hard...sat on there arse's for what 100 buck$ an hour....double/triple time on boxing day...

psn have 110 million customers...70% have NO access....they have a machine that is utterly useless without an always on connection..

what did dufus say when always online was suggested "Deal with it?"...

this was allways going to happen....those corporate fatcats suck millions/billions each year...what do the invest in infrastructer...nish/f*ck all..

and you dimwits defend them!?sheesh....
