These douche bags are ruining my GTAO game time. I have all week off from work, and was really looking forward to causing havok online. I got to enjoy the snow on Christmas Eve, but just for a few hours. But there was still problems with PSN even than.

At least it's 65 degrees here in Virginia, I'm going for a ride on my ATV, hopefully I'll run over a real lizard in the woods.

Its down for a more than 26h for me , dude i keep quiting SP becouse i get bored of it by 5mins all i want is crate drops and that stressful Rat races to the drop zone and me dying from failed Parachute jump from Bestra , still getting there first and have time to pick it up, bring it back please i never had more fun in GTAO than this xmas

My kid was able to sign in to PSN on his new PS3 about an hour ago. Not sure about the PS4-- haven't tried it.

Got a great deal last week on a PS3-- Amazon had the Disney Infinity 2.0 12GB PS3 bundle on sale for $169

 

I bought a hard drive mounting bracket for $5 and moved the 500 GB hard drive from my old FAT broken PS3 to his new super slim-- works great.

 

And since we already own Disney Infinity 2.0 for the PS4, we plan on selling it on Ebay or at Game Stop-- should be able to easily clear $40 to $45 on it-- NET cost for the PS4 should be about $135-- really couldn't pass it up

if i go online from the story mode options menu i am told i need a PSN account which i am logged into according to the PS4s internet test function. if i hold down the direction button then i get a message saying rockstars services are down

 

my friends list is active which it wasnt yesterday

the PSN advert stuff is active which is different from yesterday

 

either way i cant access GTA online and i have no other PS4 games to try since i bought the GTAV PS4 bundle on the day of release and dont fancy any other PS4 games just now

even though this is a family time of year and the controller should well and truly be shut away in the cabinet under the tv, there has still been opportunity for me to game, however thats the spanner in the works due to these kids

Guys news reports saying Xbox Live services are back up and running although there are still some problems with additional serverices such as Apps.

 

PSN is still down, @AskPlaystation are trying to keep everyone up-to-dtae with the status of where the team are in acordance to fixing the issue.

 

Like i stated in a post earlier on, just forget about trying to sign in to PSN. Play a game that doesn't require online access to actually play the game (like Campaign modes of a game surely you don't need to access online for those unless there's a patch update required) or turn off your PS3/PS4's and watch TV or go out somewhere. Make the most of this time to do something different for a change, spend time with famiy and friends without using gaming to talk to them. SONY will take as long as they need to resolve the issue.

 

You don't want them to rush the fix only for it to fail again so let them do what needs to be done.

 

You all have the whole of 2015 to play online with friends and I think all the game companies that have been giving out free items over the past two days will extend these services due to this, they understand no one can get online to claim them. Rockstar have done it in the past when there's been connection problems regaurdless of wether it were there own servers or Xbox or SONYs.

 

Yes it's annoying that us PSN users also pay for our online access on PS4 now and yes I believe Microsoft and SONY should of been able to prevent this with them being such big sompanies within the world of technolgy, but it's happend nothing we can do apart from wait till it's solved.

 

When I was a kid, I never had a PS3/PS4 Xbox360/Xbox One with Online features. I had the good old SAGA Megadrive and later onward the PS1 where the only problem that happened was the disc/cartridge would stop working and if we couldn't fix it by cleaning the surface, we went and did something else.

 

Also to the users who post about 5 or more pages into the post saying on PS4 but can't log into PSN need to read the whole topic starting with the first post. Also not 100% certain but I'd say that SONY have turned it fully offline which is why you are getting the ERROR codes, SONY Support site also states that PSN is Offline so no matter how many times you try to sign in, that request is not even reaching the server.

 

It is comon sense that if something is Offline, it is Unaccessable.
