eh, he'll never spawn in the vehicle units, though. I don't think he'd actually spawn for chase, neither.

I would like to apologize for not releasing any updates in the last few days but I was playing Heists on the weekend and on the weekdays I am(as you may know) busy with collage and gym which reminds me that there is an unused model for either back pull downs or chest flies(cant remember which) in the game files so I will see if I can script it and make it work.

 

Also I will have two weeks of the week after next so I hope I can make much more progress then.

On another note I have finally found that texture for the shops Jefferson.. it was bugging me because I knew that I seen it somewhere..

I read somewhere that some one found the models for it but I do think that he is either lying or just confused it with another model. Anyway it gives us a reason to dig into the PS2 files again

In any case, as I was saying in other topic of Beta mod, the island don't detail any kind of buildings in the radar, so maybe it was just terrain, or maybe just terrain with vegetation.

That didn't happened in final version?

 

I was sure that it happened in final version, at least I remember seen that information in that mission

Vladim M has found some information that I have newer known before, there is was a cut road in Idlewood, can't believe I never noticed this as it is on the interactive map exaclty where I found the Ganton Plaza, which he yet again added much more info to than I have known of(so that is getting an update soon as well) - seriously you need to check out his videos

 

In other news Aztecas has started helping me out with map modelling and he just finished the mentioned road in Idlewood

Most of what I have done in LAe has been scrapped and done again at a higher quality. The Jefferson Shops aren't part of the plan anymore(at least for now) as there is only one texture left over.

On another note take look at the new style of the Database(the one in the first post is outdated)

Missions will probably be one of the most fun additions but if I work on them them before I finish the map it will be a bit tough getting back and working on the map, that's why I like focusing on one element at a time.

 

Even the '

' has been removed from the current build so when I start working on the script it will be much better, the script is done but I'm just keeping it separately in a text file along with other things, like the adrenaline pickups which I did back in 2013.

Well, on pre-release screenshots R* was using a LOT of VC vehicles. On this time, SA vehicles were not developed/completed/created. If you analyze this, VC vehicles are not exactly "Beta", but just a temporary tool to test/improve/create the game - just like III/VC wheels, animations, etc. Beta cars are those changed/removed from SA; they were features from the game itself.

 

For example: Beta Bullet, changed on Alpha version. There was an original model for this vehicle, like on this promo screenshot (that obviously you already saw):

This is a TRUE Beta Vehicle. Can you get my point? VC Taxi, for example, was NEVER meant to be on ANY version of SA. R* was using it to test the game, while they haven't a proper model. Beta Taxi, in fact, is this one (you can notice Beta Landstalker too):
