The snow is better this year

Recommended Posts

What I noticed is different this time:

-Breathing like in GTA4

-Tracks for car wheels and snow blowing from wheels

-Foot marks

someone with sense. I always bug rockstar about being lazy but I am very impressed with this year's snow, I ran from tinsel to weazel avoiding sliding NPC cars and breaking their windows with snowballs, rockstar really actually tried a little and it shows

Too bad some people don't notice

I don't remember it affecting driving (as much) last year. Races are totally different with the snow on. Wouldn't have been a half bad idea for races to be given the snow on/snow off options. It is nice that the detail has gone into it though. Kudos to them for that at least.

There was a glitch where the tracks were slightly translucent and were easier to see if you moved the camera but they were definitely there.

There was tracks but only offroad (beaches, dessert) but not on the streets.

I've been playing since day 1 and the snow is different this year. It was terrible to drive in last year this year its more bearable. The snow didn't cycle last year between light snow flakes and heavy snow falling like it does this year either.

There was tracks but only offroad (beaches, dessert) but not on the streets. The translucent tracks WERE on pavement. You could see them when you used to the rear view while driving.

The tracks while off pavement were more noticeable but the pavement tracks were absolutely there.
