Well it was really just something i installed for a couple of days just to have fun seeing more realistic traffic.

 

And i am forced to use mods now because that "Checkpoint" system broke my game...

 

After the last Hunter Quarry mission my gane crashed. I resumes the game and it resumed right after that one. I didn't see a money generating thingie and i thought "Hmmm... ah well, propably this isn't an asset like Trucking" and here i am. 98,93% completion before EOTL. Forved to use mods because i just trigger Los Desperados again and finish it to achieve 99,47%

OrionSR, which rare vehicles are worth to collect in master save? I will not obtain any plane or vehicle that require impound garage management.

You got the AP Fire Truck? If I get it, it'd be my favorite AP Truck....However, the AP Monster might be better for fun than the AP Fire Truck. I haven't messed around with the AP Monster yet, though...That'll happen after the Game is finished.

 

Rare Vehicles to make EP/FP would be EP/FP Sea Sparrow (Stored on top of Mulholland, not in the Impound), EP/FP Hotknife (Vigilante Early), EP/FP Phoenix (Vigilante Early), EP/FP Euros (Vigilante Early), EP/FP Super GT (Vigilante Early), EP/FP Bullet (Vigilante Early), EP/FP NRG-500 (Vigilante Early or San Fierro Early).

 

Some of these Vehicles are not "Rare" but can NOT be found in Los Santos early on in the game, like the Super GT, Bullet, etc, etc.

 

Personally, I never got into all these EP/FP Vehicles much. The only 3 Vehicles I made into EP/FP was the first 3 EC Vehicles you can obtain. EC Vehicles are my LEAST liked Special Vehicles, so I made them EP/FP/EC instead of just keeping them EC.

Idk how you do it. I couldn't replay SA over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over. It seems like every other week you are starting a new Game :p

No, I haven't got AP firetruck yet. Right Now, I am doing master save. When I finish master save then I will try(million times) to obtain the AP firetruck!

 

How can I make seasparrow EP/FP in master save?

I think you get the Seasparrow early. It's near the Boat School area, above San Fierro and to the left of The Desert. Ask fnxrak cuz I think he has an EP/FP Seasparrow which he got early...

See, now do you see why I make a backup? If something goes wrong, whether it be a Vehicle disappearing or a glitch like the Percentage, etc, etc, as long as you have a backup to go back to, you won't have to keep re-doing the Game from the start.

 

This is why I do the Game once and that's all. Sure, I have problems, but because of the backup I always have, nothing is officially a problem, only temporarily. So I suggest you backup your Save from time to time...

Backups would be useless. I did Quarry RIGHT after Explosive Situation. I do have a backup, but it is after Key of her heart. I will do 3 things different now.

 

I WON'T make the UCV's FP/EP for less mission fails, the EP Mule and EP Banshee will be replaced by FP/EP/NE NRG-500 and FP/EP Sea Sparrow.

 

And i will do everything as i unlock it. E.g trucking missions after Yay ka boom boom, Quarry after Explosive Situation, Export after 2nd Steal car mission.

 

And my garages will PROPABLY look like this:

 

Los Santos:

Ganton: AP Infernus, AP Greenwood, AP Buffalo.

Santa Maria: AP PCJ-600, AP Admiral, UC BF Injection, FP/EP/NE NRG-500.

Verdant Bluffs: AP Savanna, AP/UC Newsvan, AP Glendale.

Master save collections are worthy of their own topic. Would you like to lead the discussion? This subject has been covered a number of times over the years but needs an update, and more importantly, we should collect all the available info in one spot. I wonder if Krawk has compiled any data on master save collections.

 

Something I would find interesting and might provide some long term life to the topic, would be to hunt down the old master save collections that have been posted by The Masters and re-post the results using a format similar to the garage contents y'all've been using recently. The idea is use this info for research, but also provide a format for new players to periodically bump the topic with their recent collection.

 

Assuming someone wants to take up the challenge of researching and organizing this information, how organized do you want to get? I was thinking we might want to finally update pdescobar's zone map with the assigned zone types. Players can then look in their data files to find which vehicles are associated with each ped group, and which ped groups are found in each zone type. The missing piece of the puzzle is an easy way to view the zone types without a save editor. Anyway, this is the sort of information that allows me to say that the Turismo, Bullet, and Hustler will only be found in normal traffic in certain areas of LV (barring zone change tricks). All other "normal traffic" vehicles should be available in LS (it's been a while, we should double check for accuracy and completeness).

 

So... let's start a list off the top of my head. I'll ignore your preference to avoid impounds, make whatever choices you want.

 

Worthy Master Save Vehicles:

 

Farm Trailer (except PS2)

Hydra, Rustler, and Raindance - These challenges are taunting me.

FI Girlfriend Cars, Michelle, Barbara, and Katie - They are proofed after all, and I'm a bit partial to these vehicles. I'll dump and recollect if I need the garage space later but they must be present on my master save because they can be.

Engineless NRGs - Rare, useful, and super cool.

Seasparrow at Mulholland - Thanks Zoom. (N/[email protected] until Flight School, check Sherman Dam or north of Airstrip).

Police and News Maverick - It's the challenge that counts.

FI Mountain Bike (not at Doherty) - I know; nobody else cares.

Does not spawn: Hotknife, Phoenix, Euros.

Not available in LS: Sandking (preferably w/o hydraulics), Turismo, Bullet, Dune, Bandito, Hustler, Bloodring Banger, Monster, Firetuck LA, SF/LV Police, Hotdog (except PS2, and some of these present serious parking issues), Barracks, Patriot, Leviathan, Cropduster, Dumper, Dozer,

Smoke's Black Perennial - It could be argued that it's still a master save if the first mission has not been completed.

Hypothetical: The Taxi or Cabbie that survives 50 fares in a row, or Broadway that completes the Pimping mission in restricted territory.

Hard to spawn when you want it: Burkley's Topfun Van

Unworthy:

UC Mafia Car - It'll screw up the Badland missions.

So, um... I'm sure it's an incomplete list but it should get you thinking.

 

 

Militia, if you maintain an attitude that is too pure you'll miss out on some fun activities and opportunities to learn new things. And don't assume the arbitrary set of goals you have set for yourself should apply to everyone else.

Orion i think mobile car spawns are different. I am 100% sure i've seen Turismo's in LS. That was before i knew about mods so...

 

And could you explain the difference between a master save and a starter save?

Okay... so what is different? Is the Turismo listed in cargrp.dat anywhere other than for Entertainers or the Fast Cars Cheat? Are the entertainers listed anywhere other than Entertainment Busy in popcycle.dat? Are there Entertainment Busy zones anywhere in LS on your save? The last part is hard to check, but SASE might work if you have v1.06 saves.

 

Master saves are usually the same thing as a starter saves, but technically you could have "master saves" before key missions. Some players took issue with the term and started promoting the use of Starter Saves to describe In the Beginning master saves. The other term I like to promote is Elite Master Save to describe an In the Beginning starter save with 13.37% max (except on mobile) completion, no deaths, no arrests, and no cheats.

Anyways imma get a Sea Sparrow now for Gray Imports.

 

@Khsh97 just so you know, if you need help on a special vehicle, just ask me. I've got any UC/Proofed vehicle except AP Firetruck. (But please don't ask for the cursed vehicle called AP Infernus)

who said that mobile cars spawn are different. I haven't seen a Turismo in LS & SF.

Hm... I suppose I should have put the farm trailer on the hypothetical list. I was hoping someone might take the bait. I wouldn't be surprised the this vehicle is impossible to collect. The only spawn is south of Barbara's near the trout farm, it can only be towed by a tractor, and tractors don't spawn in the north.

Guys i think i just found something new. I was obtaining the Offroadwheels Pony from Life's a beach, and whem i put it too far in the water i decided to Sawn off shotgun it out. I then noticed it didn't get damaged so i took my M4 and shot 20 bullets on it. Nothing has changed. It appears to be Bulletproof during and after the mission, but the proofings dissapear after it is put in a garage.

 

Edit: Turismo's look like Super GT's, don't they? Yes they do...

I am not going to collect planes and choppers because in mobile we can't camera while flying choppers and planes. Getting them out of impound garage would be too much difficult since we can't control camera.

Seasparrow

 

Collecting Girlfriends AP vehicles add to disastrous date in stats. Should I collect them?

AP Mountain Bike? I'd like an explanation, too. Nobody has ever mentioned this Vehicle as far as I know. If I can get an AP Mountain Bike, that'd be awesome...

Engineless NRG-500 is just a Glitch Vehicle. Kinda like the Lightless Taxi's in III, VC, LCS, VCS, etc...In essence, they are NOT Special Vehicles. The only thing that makes them Special is a glitch that happened to the Vehicle, but I don't count a glitch as a Unique Feature of a Vehicle, etc...

 

Anyways, you can get it from Vigilante. Maybe other ways, but all I know is Vigilante.

I agree. The 5 AP Girlfriend Vehicles are "Give Me Vehicles." They are quite easy to obtain and once you have them you feel very good. You just gotta learn the process on how it works. That's the only tricky part. My favorite is the AP Monster, then the AP Bandito, followed by the AP Hustler, AP Romero, and lastly the AP Police Ranger.

Yeah, you can't. All you can do is obtain the Seasparrow. Just hold off until you get to Gray Imports and then make it EP/FP. To make it EP/FP is easy, you just drive (or fly) into the red marker outside of the warehouse that you go into and shoot all those guys, then immediately drive (or fly) away back to a Garage and store your Vehicle, then go back to the warehouse at the Docks and go through the mission like normal. When you come out of the warehouse, just let that goon escape in the Banshee to fail the mission, and then repeat this same process until ALL Vehicles you want to make EP/FP are done with...

 

I much prefer the Crusher Glitch in GTA III and LCS to convert Vehicles into DP. BP and DP are the dominant properties, imo. EP/FP isn't very good as nobody in the game uses Molotovs, Flamethrowers, or RPG's. Only you, the character, can use fire and explosive weapons. Other than SAM Sites and Hydras in SA, EP/FP is absolutely useless. That is why I never cared to obtain all these Rare Vehicles early and make them EP/FP. However, the BEST EP/FP Vehicle would be the Hydra hands down. That would come in handy. But if you want the Hydra you'd need the Impounds no doubt and you didn't want to do that, sooo.... :p

Whoops, my memory failed me again. I warned you guys that I was just doing that list from memory, right? I am a casual vehicle collector. You guys are the current experts. Do your homework. Don't trust me for complete and accurate information.

 

Only the FP Mt Bikes are available on a master save. The FI version isn't available until the triathlons open. These vehicles don't generate much discussion because a proof bicycle has no advantage over the non-proofed version since they can only be destroyed by flipping them upside down (how to do on purpose?).

 

Brine, I don't know much about unique colors other than the standard colors for random spawns and painted vehicles are defined in carcols.dat.

 

I am not concerned about several SA stats because the in-game advantages outweigh the shame of an extra digit here or there. I intend to date at least one girl to open the fast food joints early on a master save, because I can so I must. In my opinion, a disastrous date tally is no different than a mission failure - totally worth it if you come away with a special vehicle.

 

Still, no need to be wasteful. (I tend to use police bikes for travel across restricted rural areas to prevent the stars from constantly bleeding away and getting re-applied. Also, pop-proof tires by toggling vigilante, and that doesn't increment attempts after it's been completed.) Anyway, I don't remember when the disastrous date stat is adjusted. Canceling a date might avoid the stat hit. I think it was Roggan that really pushed the limits on this stuff, but I don't remember his results clearly other than - the girlfriends refuse to accept gifts once the date has failed, so progress with Katie and Barbara remains impossible.

 

The Engineless NRG is a bit of a trademark vehicle for me; I've used them in some of my videos. It also represents the results of a difficult investigation; it took me forever messing around with a car spawn trainer to finally make one of these appear so I could save it in a garage and figure out how to recreate it. If I had to rely on this glitch occurring naturally I would surely skip this vehicle anyway; it's a really rare glitch. But the guys at gta.ru suggested a strategy involving loading a save, grabbing a cop bike in a garage, triggering vigilante to keep the game busy so it doesn't load the required files to finish the NRG's variation, and bee-lining for a fixed NRG spawn. The suggested locations were Doherty or Ganton, but neither save location is available on a master save. El Corona might be too far. Jefferson? Maybe get lucky with a bike cop right out front. Maybe there are other tricks. FYI, the trick worked right away in Doherty, then didn't work again for awhile and I haven't tried since.

 

khsh97, for now I suggest posting your master save questions in this topic. If the conversation gets too far away from rare vehicles then we can think about starting a new topic, but for now we may as well gather everything in one spot. Or, just go ahead and start a new topic for master save collections. Start a new topic before someone else does. You'd be good at this, and have the skills to dig a little deeper to get the answers you need.

I now just obtained the AP/EC Newsvan, AP/EC Vortex, EC BF Injection and AP Infernus. Tomorrow, I will get the AP Glendale and Unique/BP/FP SWAT Tank. Then all I gotta do is PASS End of the Line and obtain the Greenwood, Feltzer, and Fire Truck and I am done! :D

 

khsh97; Militia sums it up pretty good. However, I recommend you to make Seasparrow EP/FP since its the ultimate aircraft, its agile, has a machine gun and can land on water, and with the proofings you're king of the skies! ;) i got a EP/FP Hydra but its actually pretty useless. Unlike the Seasparrow, if you make one single mistake and happens to just barely scrape a building you're screwed and the Hydra becomes hard to control.The Sea Sparrow can take some beating, thats for sure :)

 

Oh? I never knew the Sea Sparrow had guns on it. f*ck! Now I want one, lol :p Oh well, I am happy with my AP/EC Maverick, too bad I have no weapons to use while being airborne :/
