Don't get into casino debt while you are in Los Santos, unless you have a way of avoiding the casino calls. It will break your storyline missions later, because you won't receive a phone call that will unlock missions. I've not done the mistake myself, so someone else will have to fill you inn with the details.

There is little risk of receiving an unwanted call from the Mafia as CJ must be in LV and without a wanted level. There are only a few places on the map where CJ can be unwanted in LV early in the game (Jetmax dock with armor). If the phone happens to ring then don't answer it and get out of LV or go get a wanted level.

 

If you can figure out how to get a dept larger than what you can owe to the casino's you can make a fortune off a Wheel O' Fortune glitch. I forget the details, don't bet, win or lose. But if don't right the money won will continue to scroll up for a mission or two until the money on screen finally matches CJ's total cash.

 

Vigilante is still my favorite strategy for big money. The main limit early in the game is the amount of ammo that can be accumulated. But then again, I believe Zoom has a Vigilante video that starts from a new game with no skills, weapons or ammo. So anything is possible.

Getting a debt early on is bad anyways because I won't be able to buy the safehouses anyways. I'm only going to get it after beating the rest of the game, so no worries on that

You could date Katie to avoid losing your weapons when you die... Just do the sex appeal glitch and/or come in the Bullet that's parked by Doherty

 

Yes, when I kill myself for the AP Fire Truck (Third, and final Death) I have Katie as a Girlfriend. But the thing is, I don't get the Girlfriends until after I unlock Verdant Meadows when I get to the Desert, usually after Green Goo, actually, when all Garages in the game can be bought. So I already would have died for the Maverick and Mothership and lost all weapons. No need to have Sex Appeal. By the time I am in The Desert, the 50 Oysters are done with...

Yep, that is how I am. Like, when I lose my weapons after The Green Sabre, the first thing I do is go to the local Ammunation and buy a couple thousand rounds of the SMG. It's quicker. No need to waste time getting Pickups half way across the map which only give like 150-200 ammo. Everyone should know by now I am the king of maximizing time. I HATE wasted time and always take the fastest route...

@lol232 (message deleted?): Maximizing (Perhaps the better word may be utilizing) time meaning going as fast as possible, not slow as sludge. The higher the Total Playing Time Stat, the angrier I get :p Anytime I can take a shortcut to shave off the Total Playing Time Stat, I will. I had 55 Hours and 49 Minutes in my previous PS2 Save. Now I have 47 Hours and 50 Minutes. In VC, I had 23 Hours and 56 Minutes. Now I have 19 Hours and 10 Minutes. I practically speed run each game, while maintaining perfect stats, and getting all the Special Vehicles.

 

I HATE Wasted Time is self explanatory. :miranda:

 

Anyways, I guess everyone missed my comment on the previous page. Is there ANYTHING at all special about the Police Maverick in Reuniting the Families when you are on the roof with Sweet? I got that to force land, once on the ground, off the roof and another time on the roof itself, but it kept spinning around and didn't stop. This same sort of thing happens with the Black Maverick in Interdiction. When you force land it by using the Minigun, you need to make sure it lands, and stops. Some of them continue to spin on the ground and these aren't retrievable. But yeah, I used a Minigun on it like the Black Maverick and am wondering if there is anything special about it. EP/FP would be useless, but if it's DP, that would be pretty cool...

I don't think the Sandking has any special colors. Since it has a fixed spawn location and is always available from there, it can probably spawn in several different colors. However, here is mine:

I will have an EP/FP Sandking in my new Mobile Save, as well. Currently 40.11%. Just want to finish this up. I basically only re-did it for ONE Vehicle (DP/EP/FP/MP BF-400). Everything else I had before, except a few other EP/FP Vehicles that aren't even worth mentioning since they aren't rare or taken from restricted territory on 4 stars.

I'm on Xbox original version so can't really post a screenshot. But got mine with hydraulics and it can literally climb over the bridge between LV and LS making it real easy to get.

Ah, I see. I actually never saw it look like the picture you just posted. As you probably already read that when I do my Mobile Save, I use khsh97's 14.97% Starter Save and he has this in one of the Garages. I never really went to go look for Sandkings and what not, but I know where it spawns. Anyways, he has it with Hydraulics, too...

 

Yeah, about screenshots, I hate how I can't make amazing looking screenshots with the PS2 Version, either. This photo was from Mobile. It's easy to take a print screen on Mobile and PC. Actually, though, Douglas can get me high quality Photos of my PS2 Save and the Garages. You can use the in-game camera to take the Photos and then extract them from the Save on your PC if you know where to look. He did this for my previous PS2 Save when I was "obsessed" with showing everyone my collection. I had good Photos for all the GTA's on PS2/3, but I removed them all and don't care to show anyone anything, anymore :p People can just take my word for it or don't believe me. I don't care :D

How many unique colors does the Sandking have? Was playing today and got it for my starter save and it's blue and red, looked quite weird, especially considering pretty much every other time I've seen the Sandking it's that default brown/tan colour.

Sandking has two colors, and I believe there are 8 possible colors. 2 x 8 = 16 possible combinations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I tried getting the Sandking without hydraulics, but that would've meant having to push it all the way to a garage while keeping the camera on it and surviving the wanted level, so I just kept trying and trying until one with hydraulics appeared. During those times, I saw a couple of red and blue ones, so it's not special

A Sandking can climb over the bridge rails without hydraulics. If it doesn't work forward try backward. I don't remember which way was easiest.

Why would you have to push a Sandking? Is it because you land on the roof when falling down from the bridge? Bad luck happens, but it's possible to end up with the wheels down.

@OGViking, you need to shoot the Black Maverick in Interdiction to force land it. Too many Minigun Bullets it will blow up, too little Bullets, it won't land. It has to be done using a Minigun only, apparently as no other Weapons will work. About the Police Maverick, that sucks. I don't need any EP/FP Police Maverick from RtF cuz you can get one from Gray Imports converting it.

 

Anyways, I used a Minigun on the Police Maverick and it landed twice. Once on the roof and once on the ground in the grass next to the stair case you and Sweet walk down to get to the next cutscene when you get into the Greenwood. Thing is, it was spinning. You'll see this happen soon enough when you get to Interdiction and get the EC Black Maverick. It's quite difficult to obtain, actually. I've had one land perfectly once and after the cutscene, it just disappeared right before my eyes. It's really annoying to say the least. But that is how I did it with the Police Maverick in RtF to force land it.

Yeah, the one at the end in the cutscene that splatters the cop on the hood of the Greenwood is AP, but unobtainable.

I could be very wrong, but I never saw any Hunters other than getting Gold on Flying School. Do they spawn at Area 69? If so, I never saw them. If you can get it from somewhere, I think people have already stated that it's too big to be Impounded...

 

@Dragon, from a message you wrote the other day about getting the Voodoo, Tahoma, and Bravura...Does that mean you SKIPPED the newly discovered DP/EP/FP/MP BF-400? If you skipped it...Bad decision, lol...

 

And good luck on the Police Car. Seriously f*ck that Vehicle to hell on PS2/3. I can't stand that one. You know how easy it is for me to drive the Infernus into Glen Pond on PS2 V1 for the AP Infernus, whereas the other Method is MUCH MUCH MUCH harder? Well that is how the Police is when comparing Mobile/PC to Console. It's f*cking impossible on PS2/3. Supposedly the Pause Glitch works even on the original Xbox, but it doesn't work like that on PS2/3. It's almost "cheating" using the Pause Glitch...That's how easy it is. It's not fair that you need luck of a thousand Gods on PS2/3 and on Mobile/PC/Xbox, you can get it first try almost guaranteed. The Greenwood is SO easy to destroy long before the hills in East Los Santos right before activating the next cutscene with the Police Bikes.

How does the Coverless Barracks OL look? I've seen this on Mobile I believe. I took my AP Maverick from my previous Mobile Save and flew over Area 69 to get a 5 star wanted level and as I flew back and forth, I didn't see any Barracks OL, and one randomly came onto screen like pop in happens, and this very Barracks OL had no netting on it, it had no rounded covering on the back. It looked like a Flatbed in GTA III:

EDIT: You know the newly discovered DP/EP/FP/MP Greenwood. What if you did like you do to obtain the Police Car and destroy the Greenwood during the chase. Couldn't you push the wreck back to a Garage and it keep the properties? Or are those properties deleted if the Vehicle is destroyed?

@OrionSR, then it looks like I "found it" as well. I didn't try standing on it, but nothing was surely there and usually I see some netting or other covering surrounding the back, but I saw nothing...

The Numberless Bloodring and Coverless Barrack are part of the NE (no extra) vehicles. They were already discovered. The three new discoveries are the 'mutant' Greenwood, the FP/EP/DP BF-400 and the FP/EP/DP Greenwood. The videos are a few pages back, around pages 31-32

Check out the Unique and Rare Transport Guide at GTA.ru for the most complete and comprehensive information. Our local topics are broken and out of date anyway. A few weeks ago the Coverless Barracks was rediscovered locally, but upon checking that guide we learned it wasn't new, our guides were just out of date. I think the new discoveries came from double checking that site. I haven't really looked into those, I was more interested in variation glitches.

 

The summary of the Somethingless No Extra variation glitches is; many -1, -1 variations are normal, but the list of glitch variations has been narrowed down.

 

Engineless NRG - very rare but known for years

Coverless Barracks - fixed spawn

Numberless Bloodring - fixed spawn

 

Steeringless Slam Van - only fixed spawn is during export mission

Mufflerless Motorcycles - BF400, NRG, FCR easy to overlook

Numberless Hotring A and B - only seen inside the stadium interior

 

Logoless Coach - no fixed spawn except PS2

The DP/EP/FP/MP Greenwood is 100% useless, considering there is an AP Greenwood in End of the Line, and AP is better than DP/EP/FP/MP. Furthermore, the new Greenwood requires a Death and the AP one doesn't. So if you have the skills to get the AP Greenwood in EotL, then there is no need to even look at this new Special Vehicle. However, the 2 others are the Mutant Greenwood and the DP/EP/FP/MP BF-400. Mutant Greenwood takes some time to obtain and personally, I am not interested. I view "Glitched" Vehicles like the Lightless Taxi's in III, VC, LCS, and VCS. I never collect them. Or the Graffiti-less Hoods Rumpo's in III and LCS. These things never really caught my interest and that is how I view the Glitched Vehicles in SA. The only reason I care for the EC Mutant BF-400 is simply for the EC. Any featured EC Vehicle is always obtained in my collection just like Special Vehicles with immunities. So that is why the EC Mutant BF-400 is my thing. But since the Mutant Greenwood comes up in Reuniting the Families, which comes AFTER Gray Imports, it's not really interesting to me. Now, the DP/EP/FP/MP BF-400 is awesome and definitely something to look into. It's been obtainable for years, but it required the use of Blow Up All Cars Cheat to obtain before. Now you don't need Cheats to get it legit. It sucks about the AP Sultan and AP Packer, though. I wish these could be obtained without 1 Cheat like how they are currently. You can get both at the same time with only 1 Cheat, but it's not worth it even with 1 Cheat. The cool thing is, though, as you probably already know, the AP Sultan is obtainable without Cheats on Android/iOS. It's quite easy to obtain, but does require some luck. When you use the Force Shutdown Method of the Game App, sometimes the Mission will restart instead of fail. If it restarts, well then you gotta do it all over. But if you fail it, like you are supposed to, the Sultan will be right there waiting for you to steal and take to a Garage. It's easy, but requires some luck to get the Mission to fail instead of restart. I had trouble with it in my current Mobile Save, actually, but then I finally got it.

So what's missing from System Error's guide in rewards to vehicles and how to obtain them?

Off the top of my head, the EP/FP/DP Police, the AP and EP Admirals from You've Had Your Chips. It also doesn't list most of the unique EC2s. It also has the Andromada listed as unobtainable, although you can obtain it on PS2.

 

I found these videos, it seems so simple so I don't get why Andromada was listed as unobtainable.

I think somebody had trouble obtaining it once and declared it unobtainable. Everybody else just took it as gospel. But it's definitely obtainable, at least on PS2. I have it sitting in my Verdant Meadows hangar on one of my saves. It can be tricky to obtain though, as it likes to disappear when going into the garage. I am unsure about the other versions, although it can apparently be temporarily obtained in the Mobile version by shutting down your phone during the Stowaway cutscene.

 

Getting it out of the hangar is also a challenge, as the tail is much to large for the hangar. It likes to blow up.

Bummer. How do you do get it out then?

 

I had added it to my plans, but I don't need an airplane that needs a repair once it's out of the hangar.

Andromada - test save with an Andromada in the hangar and a Rhino in the garage.

 

That Andromada is a not very cooperative at all. With a lot of effort I can spawn one in the hangar and get it to close and open normally, but getting it out, as mentioned, is not an easy task. I've yet to get it out even with BP/EP/FP/CP settings.

 

I have not been able to save a wreck. The garage is quite anxious to eat any wreck when the door starts to close, at the latest.

In my experience, driving the plane and hoping that the tail clipping the garage will let it escape. Oh yeah, and the health cheat. Repeatedly. I have heard of a video that one was able to push it out of the garage just using CJ, but I have been unable to find it. Either way, it's just a hassle.

 

That Andromada is a not very cooperative at all. With a lot of effort I can spawn one in the hangar and get it to close and open normally, but getting it out, as mentioned, is not an easy task. I've yet to get it out even with BP/EP/FP/CP settings.

 

 

I have not been able to save a wreck. The garage is quite anxious to eat any wreck when the door starts to close, at the latest.

Even using the "Vehicle of Death" cheat to make it crashproof, it blew up most of the time. It took a bunch of tries before I got lucky and got it out. And that was constantly using the Health cheat.

 

As for saving the wreck, I've found that it tends to stay if you kill yourself in the garage with the plane. At least, that's how you obtain it during the Stowaway mission.
