I did some things.....Lost the EC Stretch. Reloaded my Backup Save. Did some more things, lost the EC Stretch AGAIN AND the EC Burrito. Now reloaded the Backup Save YET AGAIN, and doing Freight Train, Pimping, and Taxi.

 

I believe doing the Taxi Fares in San Fierro is f*cking me over with Paradiso. Both the EC Stretch (twice) and EC Burrito (once) are in Paradiso when I lost them. Not sure what is going on here.

 

It's true. You drive past a Garage with a high speed and even if the Garage door does NOT open and close, Vehicle data is deleted...It's absolutely true.

 

So now I am doing Pimping and Taxi in Las Venturas, considering I only have one single Vehicle in that place and it's in Prickle Pine. I hate the roads in Las Venturas, though. They don't make sense, kinda like Shoreside Vale in GTA III and LCS. The road structures are awkward.

 

Anyways, wish me luck. Third attempt at this sh*t...

 

EDIT: Finally....Stayed clear of San Fierro, and they stayed in the Garage. I knew it. Doing Taxi in San Fierro was the DEATH of the Vehicles. Did it in Las Venturas and the Vehicles didn't disappear. Now I am 70.59% Completion. However, I was 82.35% yesterday when I finished the Races. Gotta re-do them, though, cuz this f*cking game is a glitch factory of Vehicles disappearing.

You sure it contained 4 cars? Cause i never had that happen when driving past Doherty garage when it was full. Actually, not even a single garage had that

It had the EC Stretch, EC Burrito, and EC Pizza Boy. 2 out of 3 Vehicles disappeared. The Garage didn't even open/close. It stayed closed the whole time, still lost both Vehicles.

 

I have 4 in Doherty and they never disappear. If the max is in the Garage, it's probably a better chance of a Vehicle NOT disappearing, since it physically can't open and close while you are driving past it.

 

It says this stuff in the System Error Special Vehicle Guide, about how Vehicle data is deleted when you drive too fast past Garages.

 

And I am really sick of comparing PS2 (2004) to Mobile (200?) of SA. They aren't the same, PS2 has more glitches and more problems. The "new" Versions on PC and Mobile and Xbox360 don't have these problems as severe as PS2. PS2 = Hardest way of doing SA.

 

Anyways, I always have a backup, so I won't ever officially lose a Vehicle.

Still a lot, but I should be done with all this in 5-6 days. Then I will move on to the final 12 Missions, Gang Wars, and Obtaining the last 9 Special Vehicles! :)

Are you gonna do the Gang territory glitch too?

You mean fly out into the ocean really far and kill myself, then have Gangs in San Fierro, etc, etc? No. I don't need another Death, nor more Gang Wars. 53 is enough. Not to mention, PS2 (oh, what do you know?) has a glitch when you complete the mission where you fly to Liberty City, Saint Mark's Bistro, a Vagos Gang Territory is found at the Boat School, above San Fierro and it's ultra hard to get the Vagos to spawn there. It took me 45 minutes in my last Save to find the Vagos to officially take control of 100% Gang Territory. I am not looking forward to these. Not to mention last time I did them (TWICE) I lost Vehicles BOTH times. On the SECOND time when I lost the AP HPV-1000, I didn't care anymore and just saved the game over it. That's why you never saw any AP Bikes on my old SA Special Vehicle list. One Vehicle disappeared in that playthrough and because it was a bike, I didn't care. But this time, I got ALL Special Bikes, and won't lose a single Vehicle. It's why I always make backups. Anyone with a brain would do the same so they won't lose Vehicles.

I found a new one. Get a Hydra, wait somewhere till a gang attacks a territory. Fly over there, and fly quickly away. If you're lucky you get gang members spawning where you currently have, kill the ballas/vagos and the old territory and current one will be yours

I would expect to find a report of a new special vehicle following a comment like that in a Proofed Collection topic.

 

Your observations are variation on the common "hood abuse" satchel trick. You can find more information in the topics linked below, but I'm not sure if reviving these old topics would be appropriate. You might want to look into recent posts by ric-013 in my Intro Editing topic. He's been playing around with gang war mods for SA Mobile.

That sucks, then. I wonder if it can't be obtained on Mobile? I don't know.

 

3-4 days from now I will be finally back to the Story Missions and obtaining the final 9 Special Vehicles. I am not worried over the AP/EC Newsvan anymore. The area where you shoot it has barely any peds around. Only like RIGHT when you get to the Safehouse and running from the cops is cake. I will surely be able to get it. I gotta move all 3 Vehicles out of Santa Maria Beach before I do it, though.

 

The only two Vehicles I worry about is the AP Greenwood and AP Fire Truck.

Maybe you can take him with you and when you are near the shooting location just make him get out the buggy or whatever car you use and put the car on top of him so he doesn't follow you attach the satchel on the buggy and blow it, that should kill madd dogg I guess.

The Vehicle you drive is the EC Black and Red BF Injection :D:p You forgetting? :p It's been too long, man... You gotta get back into it, and not just SA! :)

 

I am kinda glad that I am doing everything before doing the Missions and last 9 Special Vehicles, cuz then if the AP Greenwood or AP Fire Truck takes a long time...I don't need to move on and won't feel as impatient, because the moment I pass "End of the Line" I will have 100%, 4 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, and hopefully 47 total Special Vehicles. I know I will for sure have 45, but the AP Greenwood and AP Fire Truck to make 46 and 47 worry me.

He he he I know I didn't forget but you can use another vehicle along the way, it's not the first time i destroy the bfinjection while taking madd dogg to the videoclip shooting site that's why i said or any other vehicle he may be using

The last picture is not the safehouse. I used a mod that let's you enter buildings like in Burglary missions.

 

If you look closely the upper picture is the safehouse since the fenced area is visible. (Fences are gone due to AP/UC Newsvan)

 

Anyways i just watched a video from fnxrak for the AP Infernus, and it works. But, out of 40 tries, the Infernus only flipped 19 times, rolling back over passing the mission. Other 21 times the Tractor dissapeared...

 

I'll try again today for another hour or so and then i'll give up for today and do the Boat School.

You didn't know to use a Tractor? LOL....Monster also works, but is less reliable than a Tractor. I am so happy that AP Infernus will take me a few minutes. For everyone else without the PS2 copy, it's a long process...Almost like the Police Car. A lot of luck is required to get it on any other Version other than PS2.

 

I am done for the day. Tomorrow, I will do 3 Courier Missions. Then all I got left is 22 Races and Import/Export before I move onto the final 12 Story Missions, Gang Wars, and 9 Special Vehicles.

Brine, you are right, of course, but many years too late for this argument. I think there are still a few tools or references that list the El Corona safehouse and garage as Verdant Bluffs, so it's good to know about this detail when you can't find El Corona on the list. In recent years almost everyone refers to it at El Corona, there's not much point in arguing about it now. Maybe CJ gets taxed at a higher rate than his neighbors due to the rectangular zoning borders.

Yeah but still... Verdant Bluffs is still Verdant Bluffs garage for me :D

 

And damn this Infernus is a bitch. Normally i try to find a way of getting special vehicles without videos first, till now i succeeded with most cars. But this one is just 100% luck based...

 

Luckily i could get the AP/UC Newsvan and luckily special properties remain after modding a car in SA Mobile.

You forget or what? Lost EC Stretch, lost EC Burrito = RELOAD THE PREVIOUS SAVE. Are these Races magically gonna do themselves? I don't think so. Therefore I gotta re-do them. Not sure how you can forget when this happened, what? 2? 3 days ago?

 

I have the EC Stretch and EC Burrito still, but have to re-do 22 Races considering I had to reload...

 

Plus, SA Physics are a complete joke. Hit a poll, do a 720 spin and then tip over. The Races are like pulling teeth. They suck. Not to mention they give you the worst car every time, and on PS2, you are on a f*cking NRG-500 in WAY too many Races compared to PC. Hit something, go flying, lose race, reload. Everything is harder on PS2. Not sure how many times I've said this already. I feel like a broken record, on repeat now a days...

 

Those horrendous Races will boost me 12.25% Completion, though. So once I do them, I will be over 90%. But I am doing the 3 Courier Missions in Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas before doing those nonsense Races for the second time. Then all I got is Import/Export, another tedious, long, stupid task required for 100%.

 

This is why I hate re-doing SA. So much stupid side sh*t in this game, it's not fun, it's repetitive, and it's boring. All I care about is Vehicle Collecting and doing Story Missions but am put on hold while I do this load of horse sh*t.

You seem to have never known that it is a game. That the various "faults" are to entertain and pass time as the Player attempts to learn how to overcome the various difficulties with manual manipulation of the controls be they K&M or GamePad/controller.

When something is a "Side" mission it means just that, you do not have to do it to reach the end (credit roll).

Searching out some obscure task as 'collecting unobtainable' vehicles for no solid purpose other than to brag "I got it" is not a creditable reason for complaint.

Game is not complete, until it's 100%. It's like going to work. You do your job to get a pay check at the end of the week, even if you don't enjoy what you are doing. You do what you gotta do.

 

Now, tell me how much fun it can be with holding X, then hitting square when you get to the train station? You drive in two circles around the map with holding X and hitting square. Talk about going to sleep. Or how about Valet? Park car, run back, get another car. Repeat 20 times. It's not very appealing to me, but I do it anyways for the sake of 100% Completion. Furthermore, just so the game is less annoying with "Your Hood Is Under Attack!!!!" every few minutes, I do 100% Gang Territory as well, thus the silly annoying message goes away forever, and I don't have Ballas or Vagos spawning on every street corner.

 

All for the sake of completion, I do these things. I don't have to like them, I just do them for the sake of doing them and finishing off the annoyances. I shouldn't have to battle the controller in order to pass something. The Physics are horrendous and that's the bottom line. I like the weight of cars and how they feel, but I do not like when they give me a fish tailing sh*tty Super GT for every Race. And like I said last night, hit a poll, do a 720 spin, and then tip over. SA Physics are laughable..

 

But yeah, I doubled my Special Vehicle Collection, so I won't do this Game again after this final go at it.

And last I checked, wasn't beating the game getting to the last mission? Side missions are just little distractions, nothing serious other than getting ingame perks.
