PS2 Map - Interior Fix

 

This is just the original Interior files that allow you to play normally.

It's fix from PS2 or PC files?

 

 

Is the PC interior files for the PS2 map uploaded by TekUltra. Now EHI works correctly.

 

EDIT:

I tested the map more deeper and the casino lights on Venturas, doesn't move also the waterfalls on The Visage doesn't work too.

Aha, interesting. Looks like a problem with the UV animation then. We'll see when I'll get to it.

For complement the previous post, all casino lights and things like that in Las Venturas doesn't have animation. I don't know if have more bugs in Venturas or the other cities, I think no. Also the bug of the small red cylinder marker for ants on missions, girlfriends, etc, anyway this one is no annoying for me.

Also thanks for this great tool and your hard work.

The basketball close to Sweet's house is smaller when you're not playing with it, but returns to normal when you play with it.

The 100 tags are invisible, sprayed or not sprayed.

Yep, I converted the files from my PS2 disc and compressed with 7z on 165MB. :p

 

EDIT:

Also fix the bug with the gta_int.img converted from PS2 to PC have black transparent interiors. For fix this (for now) use the gta_int.img and the data/maps/interior files from PC. ;)

Thanks for the fixes, it seems just changing bball_col.dff is enough for the basketball and all the tags are visible now ;):^:

 

During Zero's mission Air Raid the transmitters are invisible :

Haha, wrong vertex scale again. I can't fix that in the current code. When my rewrite of the renderware library and converters is complete there will be a better version.

Ok, the new conversion is done and nothing is missing now. Just download the map here: http://aap.papnet.eu/gta/ps2_map_sa.7z

I did encounter some visual problems though...I noticed the interior of woozie's casino is way too bright. I'm still not 100% sure what the problem is here but it's something I'll have to fix in SkyGfx.

Impressive work TheHero but I'm having some issues with the map, seems be the vehicles only. They don't have alphas, all helicopters and planes have the blurred rotors broken. I'm not sure if something more is broken in your new map conversion, I hope not. But can you look into this or fix it?

I'm on a clean installation, WS fix, Skygfx and SilentPatch only.

This appears to be a TXD bug...I thought i left them untouched but maybe I was wrong and still had some old junk in my files. I did put my converted DFFs in there though. I will take a look at this...

EDIT: I Put in PC vehicle textures for now, most of them are fine.

Anyone getting this problem? I've tried multiple Python versions but get identical results I'm running Windows 10 Build 10240 i'm executing the script from a command prompt with admin privileges and I've made %110 sure that I've set my directories in the "g" Python script correctly. And yes, i have extracted the the executable files in the archive.
