The tweet was made at about 11:30pm UTC.

 

Usually things like this start at midnight UTC, so either:

 

1) Snow was meant to start at midnight UTC and something has gone wrong

2) Snow is only meant to be for New Years Day from midnight UTC and the tweet was mistimed.

 

 

Soo, it starts snowing about 8:45am here, I reckon its #1 and someone just got to the office and fixed it !

Turn off your PS3 totally and turn it back on and log in again. Snow is a texture file, so the entire game + files has to be restarted for it to work

Going from Online>Storymode>Online didn't work, rebooting my 360 did the job.

Redownload the hotfix by restarting console. Probably they don't use timer to start this feature.
