[Console] 4th street race not showing up after receiving text from Hao

When I remember right, it could be that I have had some trouble with the races too, especially with the last one, bike race through Vespucci but not over a such long time period.

What have you tried so far, since months?

 

I use for my 100 % savegame six or seven slots and overwrite always the oldest. It should be better to save one progress to multiple slots. Since months(!) I haven't got the Scrapyard property mission where the Lost appears with their gang Burritos. Franklin owns nearly all of the properties (Hen House, Hookers, Pitchers, Tequi-la-la, Smoke, Downtown Cabs, Scrapyard ... only the Theatres for M and the Golfclub for T). I was so annoyed that no Scrapyard defense missions appear that I don't care about Tequi-la-la, Pitchers, Hen House and co. Constantly blown up the damn Benson, killed myself, switched character, ignored these annoying missions. But someday I just made these annoying property missions one by one - there are only two to three missions per in-game week - and suddenly I had to defend the Scrapyard.

 

It seems that when you not finish property missions the game maybe(!) stuck on random events/property missions.

 

That's my experience. Try to finish what the game want to do, maybe it will work.

I've finally just reverted to an older save file. Now I had to keep switching to GTA Online and back or Hao just simply wouldn't text me for the next street race.

I gave up on this being fixed a long time ago lol as i don't believe it will be fixed. they keep on saying we are looking for a fix etc etc but i just feel it will never happen. And as i stated in an earlier post i'm not going to complete the game all over again just for a farcical glitch they are too lazy to fix.

What have you tried-- and do you play on console (which one) or PC.

 

Did you try my suggestion of completing the previous race again- make sure you DO NOT utilize the redo option if you lose-- you should reload to replay it... make a quick save just before starting the race (to save travel time if you don't win)

If you've already completed all the side missions available after buying Downtown Cab & Co (or any other purchasable business for that matter), then stop reading as it might not be relevant to you.

 

I tried everything for hours, and nothing seemed to work...until... a call from Downtown Cab & Co came requesting me to complete another regular mission. It seems that each race is unintentionally linked to other elements in the city. As I was driving to the objective, a message from Hao appeared and so did the race icon.

 

After the mission, I had trouble initiating the next race but it seems that if you receive a call from any business you own and accept the mission, Hao will contact you.

 

It worked for me everytime. I even set up this account to help you guys.

Would be a great solution if my property missions weren't bugged also. They never text or call me. If they are related, is there a fix for property missions not working?

I also have this problem. It's November 2016, two years after people started reporting this bug. My 4th race won't appear. Any ideas to solve this or something?

My only advice would be trying to complete any kind of mission. If you still have some main missions to pass, try that. Side quests, any random event, strangers and freaks, race or property mission - just complete it and check right after if that particular race appears on the map (if it's 8 PM - 5 AM).
