I don't play GTA V anoymore. Not because of the races, but the sh*tty support. They can f*ck off. I'm not gonna start over and collect all those scraps, parts and flowers again. Buy Far Cry 4.

I said hopefully it will be fixed in the upcoming update, and they said that they appreciate that I understand the situation and they are working on it and will fix it as soon as possible. Take from that what you will.

I have installed the new update today and the 4th race disappeared from the map, maybe they have fix this and now we must wait for a new sms from hao, i don't know but its a good sign

  Hi Matt,

  switching between characters? Seriously? I have this problem since 4 month! I did everything possible to get this street race spanning.This is definitely smth on Rockstars side to solve, as im not the only one with this issue and no one found a solution a part from starting the game from the start which is absolutely no option for me with 99%.

  Help this people, they payed/deserved it! Nothing is more frustrating than a game that u can't finish. That nullifies the sense of playing a game you know, when the games intend is to start something and to finish like GTA. Thanks

Sorry I just realized that nothing has changed, the icon on the map wasn't already there before, so the update was only for online mode, they will never fix this problem !!!

I have already started playing from beginning again and have already won all street races, so this bug is on ours old save files and I think there is nothing rockstar can do about it (except giving us useless tips)

I could agree to strart from scratch if only there will be a 100% guarantee that EVERYTHING will do fine (Races, Dom, Tonya, all random events appeared normally, etc.), but no, there is no guarantee at all.

Best we can do is pushing them with our e-mails over and over.

I'm starting a new game. There's no reason to wait anymore. It's been 3 months for god's sake... Disapointed of Rockstar Games.

At first, as soon as possible play all races (street, water...) and triathlons,

I didn't hear someone had problems with missions so don't worry about it (2or3 times you must call Tonya to activate the mission) and random events you only need 14 of 60, and don't forget to make many saves

A simple solution would be to make all street races accessible if you've completed Shift Work. I've thought this since the day the problem occurred.

I knew they wouldn't fix this annoying issue. Even though numerous people have complained to rockstar about the fact the races will not appear they've just decided to launch the heists etc and they have ignored single player yet again. I'm not starting a new game..F*ck that seriously. Does look as if i will be stuck on the same percentage forever then.

i also have this problem, with 177 hours of play i'm not wanting to start again.

i've tried EVERYTHING to find a work around, and i mean everything.. i've pretty much done everything in the game twice to try and "fix" it.

I had the same problem with the al de napoli missions, but after the newest patch they got fixed and appeared. i'm hoping that the same happens for races soon!

by the way, i never even got the text (unless i didnt see it and it got deleted?)

he just never texted me about the 3rd race so it never appeared.

I posted a follow-up ticket about a week or so ago directly asking if they are unable to fix the issue. They just today responded, saying they are deeply sorry and are still working on fixing it.

They clearly should just change the way it works in the game. Perhaps making it so when you call Hao, he will text you immedietly after, enabling the race. Or even just have the races available all at once.

As I already have said, I started playing from beginning again and have reach the 100% in one week and i was playing pretty slow.

 

You don't need all the collectibles for 100%, so guys there is no point to get angry and complaining all day because they will never fix this,

just start play from begining again

They replied to me today (after I commented to them about the 150k online they gave me, and how I'd prefer they just fix the game). The guy specifically says, "Soon we will release a new patch regarding this issue."

New update is there and... nothing changed, airport race still doesn't show up despite receiving text. Screw you Rockstar, screw you! Although I only passed jewellery store heist and few side missions, I've also completed all unique stunt jumps, all letter scraps, all knife flights, all under bridges... Ugh

Potential solution!!

 

If you've already completed all the side missions available after buying Downtown Cab & Co (or any other purchasable business for that matter), then stop reading as it might not be relevant to you.

 

I tried everything for hours, and nothing seemed to work...until... a call from Downtown Cab & Co came requesting me to complete another regular mission. It seems that each race is unintentionally linked to other elements in the city. As I was driving to the objective, a message from Hao appeared and so did the race icon.

 

After the mission, I had trouble initiating the next race but it seems that if you receive a call from any business you own and accept the mission, Hao will contact you.

 

It worked for me everytime. I even set up this account to help you guys.
