Rockstar need to patch this turd instead of giving useless tips. I mean really, a skipped cab ride is going to make the 4th race appear? then what the hell will I have to do when the 5th race also is missing?, screw ten hookers then jump off a building and kill myself?

the 10th hooker will reveal then as Hao himself and unlock the jetpack in which you have to headbutt 3 random birds around the country in a special mission called the transvestite ornithologist.

I reluctantly wiped all of my saves yesterday and started over, I've completed every mission and stranger mission available up until you survey the jewel store with Lester. Sitting at 19% for completion, and I finally got Hao's text for the 4th street race.

I definitely will not do that. If this means i have to start from beginning then f it. All the letter parts, space ship stuff, monster stunts, parachute jumps? Never.

I know, it was painful at first but I can commit to finding all the collectibles again. And now I just finished the 5th race on bikes and quick saved in three slots lol. So these races can all be completed before the first heist is started, good to know I guess.

We really shouldn't have to do a workaround because of their shoddy craftsmanship. If you buy a fridge and the vegetable crisper falls out two weeks later and won't go back in, you don't hold it up with milk cartons, you return the goddamn fridge.

Thought i was the only one who has this issue but mine is regarding the freeway race. I'm also leaning towards the fact that the last update may prevent the freeway race from appearing. I haven't even bothered contacting rockstar because i've had issues before and i just get the same old bile all the time and zero action gets taken. Pathetic.

I'm on 97% currently and i only have to do the knife flights and the final races. So i may as well just play online for a while or on different games until they fix it. Lord knows when that will be.

reinstaling the game and playing without updates didn't help

but I started playing from beginning (only to see if it works) and this time the 4th race APPEARED and the 5th one TOO (if someone had with this problems too), so I think ours old save files are corrupt and rockstar will not or can not fix this but hope dies last, for now I don't want to play all over again maybe someday maybe not ;(

Safe to say that if i have to start GTA all over again i probably won't do it. Mainly because im too lazy and it's a bit un real having to start again just to complete 2 races.

I gotta say this is absolutely ridiculous. I damn near forgot about the airport race after playing the game for weeks, and only just occured to me the icon hasn't even appeared. Hoping this is fixed before I complete the story (I'm currently up to the Minor Turbulence mission).

Whats the latest update from rockstar? Im having the same problem with 3rd race. Finished the first two, got the text, the airport race still not triggered after trying everything (sleeping, winning the previous races again etc.) Currently stuck at 98,8% so im a bit annoyed. Im not starting all over again because of rockstars mistake, thats like asking someone to go a month without a paycheck 'cause someone else messed up the original transfer at the bank.

we are all sitting in the same boat, we are all annoyed, we can only hope they fix this and wait and drink tee, in meantime im playing far cry 4 and wait for new infos about mafia 3

Knowing rockstar they will probably break something else while trying to patch this glitch. A while back i recall fire hoses not working and i couldn't climb up certain ladders in story mode and that took them an age to fix that. So going on various games is probably the best plan for now.

The one support guy answered that the safe files are corrupt and there is nothing they can do afterwards. I guess that means that we're f*cked. No 100% completion easter eggs for us. Stuck at 99,3% like the rest of you.

Wait for them to fix it is about the only solution we have. No in game tricks have worked so far to get it to show up. Seems like if it doesn't show up it just gets stuck and nothing you do will make it appear. I've tried everything from reinstalling the game with no updates to just random tricks in the game and nothing has worked so far.

They just keep telling me they're trying to fix it. I've gotten like 17 responses on my ticket. The latest one sent me a link to an article that says they're trying to fix it.

I had this problem with the third race. Then I completed the third triathlon as Franklin and got the text for it from Hao almost immediatly upon exiting storymode. Now no text from him for the fourth. I'm about 73 point something complete. My guess is this is the update's fault; because it seems people only started complaining about this a month ago, and not when it first came out last Autumn. Also of note, the game night after I completed the third race, only race number two and three appeared on the map after 21:00, and the game legend referred to race three as "street race 2/2." When I reloaded the game, all three races again appeared and the legend again referred to race three as "street race 3/3." I don't like telling someone how to do their job, and I've always been a fan of Rockstar games, but that this problem has been ongoing for four weeks is simply untenable. I would have never even bought the game if I knew I was going to run into this problem with no redress.

This is just my opinion but i highly doubt this will work to solve the race issue. They only give a sh*t about online and not the story mode hence why i am playing on different games until they bring out a patch.
