[Console] 4th street race not showing up after receiving text from Hao

Finished the first 3 street races and got the text for the 4th street race saying that it is on the freeway. The only problem is that it's not coming up on the map. When I go to the spot where it's supposed to happen there is nobody there. Let a few days pass by and still nothing. Anybody else have this problem or a solution?

This is happening to me for the 3rd one, the airport race. Got the text but I only have the two street races on my map, and no one is at the airport. I tried redoing the second race to no avail.

Well, the races icon only show up around midnight. Try going there at around 12 am and see.

I know what time they show up. The next one doesn't appear like it's supposed to, I can still do the first two at night.

Same problem here on Xbox One. I have slept for weeks, re done all previous races, even called rockstar support and they said delete and reinstall...... And stillll no!!!!! You don't want me to beat the game?!

I think the new update may have caused this for me. Not too sure. Still trying to figure it out.

I've got the same issue! Trying to trigger the Freeway race but no luck so far.

I had an issue with a race showing up as complete for my 100% (on PS3)-- this could be a similar problem.

 

Go back and redo the previous race-- make sure you win in one try-- if you lose, the game will prompt you to "retry"-- when I won after "retrying" the race would not show up as compete....

 

If you are not confident you can win in one try-- right before you enter the race-- quick save so if you lose you can reload and restart it that way rather than retrying.

 

For me it was the "vespucci canals race" causing the problems.

Grrr.. didn't see you had repeated the previous races echo... did you make sure you won without using the retry (like I described above)??

I also retried the previous race (City Circuit), and won first try,but the airport race still never appeared.

Same issue for the fourth race. Got the text but only three races show up. I loaded an older save and proceeded to complete the races but I need this fixed as I refuse to do the jumps and collectibles again haha. If however you have another save that's before you got the text you may try loading that and completing that game.

So, I had the same problem with the third race mission,i called hao and AFTER A long time in the game It appeared the Mission. Then appeared the same problem with the fourth race, I Done the same. I called hao, is busy, I played a long time with FRANKLIN he called me and he unlocked the fourth mission. If you have to collect collectible you do it with Franklin. Call him and while You collect collectible(long time ), he will call you and unlock mission.

Hao doesn't ever call, he sends texts. He's already sent me one. The race should be unlocked now. It is not. I've done this on last gen, it's supposed to unlock after you get the text. I don't think you were having the same problem as me.

I meant that he contact you. However I did not have the third mission for two days, then I played a long time with Franklin and has unlocked . Then i dont know.

Yeah, he already contacted me, but the race does not unlock. I don't know either. I don't think Stephen R. at Rockstar games support knows either, since he called me druifje25 in his last reply to me, as though he'd emailed the wrong person with the same problem. He asked for a video which I provided of the Street Races not showing up.

I have the same problem, here my mail to Rockstar after they suggested to check for updates, reboot my system and delete all my data:

I did the mentioned suggestions from your previous message (entering safe mode, checking for updates (none), no display and sound issues and im a bit reluctant to wipe out all informations on my ps4, as im sure it it is an game internal problem, that the street races are not spaning. It is the very only problem that i have but it prevents me from playing the game to 100%. The two races (freeway, vespucci canals) are not showing on map ( after 9 pm, on the programmed locations) even if i got the E-Mail from Hao that the freeway race is available. Before i really wipe out all my data: Is there a possibility that it`s just a bug which Rockstar will take care of in an future update?

The PS4 system has the ability to start up in Safe Mode. This allows access to several functions that can provide you with a way to clean up and potentially fix many issues you may be experiencing.

1. Turn off the PlayStation 4 by pressing the power button on the front panel. The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off.
2. Once the PlayStation 4 is off, press and hold the power button. Release it after you've heard two beeps: one when you initially press, and another 7 seconds later.
3. Connect the DualShock 4 controller with the provided USB cable and press the PS button on the controller.

When you have successfully booted the console in safe mode several options will be made available to you.

Step 2: Update System Software:

Step 3: Restore Default Settings:

It is possible that the changing of certain settings could lead to issues with sound and display. If you are experiencing any issues of that type, this could resolve your issue.

WARNING: The last two options of the Safe Mode list, Initialize PS4 and Reinstall System Software, will result in a complete wiping of any and/or all information on the PS4 and as such we recommend speaking with Sony before moving forward with these steps. Please keep in mind that we CANNOT restore any deleted data and advise you speak with them about how to back up save files on an external device (to prevent any loss of progress).

Lol. Don't know what Rockstar is thinking but I don't think anyone is gonna do something risky for a bug like that. They need to solve it, it's an in-game bug and has nothing to do with Playstation or anyone's settings. The bug was also on Xbox 360 last year.

exactly. I will stick to hope for an update of this bug instead of deleting all my data. If they can`t handle it, I doubt I will start from 0% to finish the game. This would be a major game breaker for me. Did they solve it last year on Xbox 360 with an update finally?

I just finished all of the story missions and all of the stranger missions including the collectables and the fourth race has not shown up for me either, I also got the same generic response from R* support to put my brand new ps4 into safe mode (not happening). Well I'm going to start form 0% and see if this is still an issue.

Yeah, no, I lied about that deleting all my data stuff. That isn't going to work, and I know it's not going to work. That's what they say to do no matter what problem you tell them about. I just said I did it to speed things along.

yeah, I actually tried deleting the game and reinstalling the entire game. It didn't work.

Started over and after the mission "Chop" the "?" for Hao's first race appears and as I drive closer it disappears as I approach.

Unfortunately I am experiencing the same issue. Got the text from Hao but the freeway race is not showing up. As I have completed every other task needed for the game completion it annoys me as much as it annoys all of you. So should I also send a complaint to rockstar or what can i do do help us solving this f*cking bug.
