I got something from a special crate called black bulletproof.can anyone tell me what's that?

just snag a crate that also had black bulletproof in it.. About to check out my inventory see if there's anything that's been added to it.

yeah not really a "special" crate if you can buy it in game but i had just gotten a crate before that with the supa wet hat so I was expecting it to be the same anyway. Seems like the crate drops are getting a bit more random now.

the last item i got from the special crate drop tonight, was possible because everyone in free roam suddenly left after the 3 hour message popped up.

i got the supa wet beer hat.

i know it's not a t-shirt.

i spawned from a failed survival mode and i wasn't far from a drop point, i got the same shirt as you.

You guys are stupid I'm professional crate hunter and no matter what it says the crate will NOT drop UNLESS you kill one NPC

like 6 of the crates i took this event nobody was there and i arrived in passive mode. No ai was killed. And the crate was dropped.

Crates drop without you killing anyone. I got the t shirt yesterday, just jumped straight on it, no one was harmed. Other than me taking a few bullets while eating snacks. I've only missed two crates out of about the last 20 I've gone for. Taking a rest today because I got the supawet already.

Finally got online to do some crating !!

So the first crate I went for ended in failure, got shot out of my buzzard. Got to watch the dude grab the crate during the death screen lol

Went for another crate in my buzzard and went up against another buzzard. Was shooting at the npcs and tilted a little too forward and a little too low to the ground and I blew myself up lol . The other dude bailed from his buzzard

I spawned on the beach near the crate and dude was still in the air in his parachute. When he landed we were about the same distance away from the crate. I shot him and collected the booty.

I can now 100% confirm there is a possibility to get different item than most of players can obtain during specific day. Just moments before on my X360 I snatched crate including Blarneys beer hat

 

 

Unfortunately Snapmatic servers are down, so I can't upload a picture of it, but I guess Christmas miracle really can happen Now I'm off to get Supa Wet.

After hearing all the talk about the Blarney's hat, I took a chance and did some last night crate hunting. I went on my Xbox One and landed in a special crate lobby. Unfortunately, some guy beat me to the crate, but he got the Supa Wet hat, so it was no big deal since I already had it.

 

Can't be bothered to grab the crates on both generations. That's just too much.
