Special Crate T-Shirts

On Xbox one, I have snow, armored cars, wanted cars and in a public session but by myself....will I get crate drops?

Sorry if I missed this somewhere

I believe there has to be atleast 4 total players in a session for a crate to drop.

 

Damm, i keep spawning in empty public lobbies, this SUCKS BALLS.

Man there really needs to be a better method of delivering these shirts, I felt like I was having a damn heart-attack from excitement/disbelief when I finally was able to snatch the Croc's Bar T-shirt.

While I do like the Vivisection shirt, can't say I'm willing to slag through another 3 hours of straight irritation.

4 players in an invite only. i've had crates spawn in an empty public lobby, just have to be lucky and patient.

This is the deal...you only need the 4 players to get the initial notification...from that point, it doesn't matter. I snagged the Base 5 shirt this way and it was only me and a random in the session by the time it dropped.

Oh that's great, snow and a new t-shirt tomorrow I'll go for the crate and enjoy snow, today I don't feel like spending all night playing (I'm from Spain, it's 2.30 am right now)

so far this "one item every 24hrs" thing seems to be pretty accuarte except we dont know what comes next,

 

since special crates usually were pretty random during special weekends,

 

has anyone noticed getting a different shirt than the ones reported per day, I mean is there still a chance of randomness?!

Much easier this time around for my male. The first session with more than 4 people that I joined didn't have the message appear immediately, so I was planning on selling a modded Dubsta and switching, but on my way to LSC, I got the 10 hours message. No one else went for the crate so it was easy pickings.

 

Also, gang attacks don't seem to glitch the crate drop anymore. Someone started a gang attack in between the 10 and 5 hour notifications and the crate still dropped.

This was the best one yet.

Had the special crate inbound notification.

Went to the area with my buzzard, noticed there were two other buzzards. One was already landed and the other inbound, also another guy in a car coming towards it. Thought there was no way I would get it so I was ready for just a good ol fire fight. Landed my buzzard, ran towards the other buzzard and saw the box and picked it up

 

Shot the other guys and jumped in my buzzard and took off lol

I remember reading posts saying that gang attacks glitched the crate drops. This was back during the LTS Update.

 

Anyway, my female got hers on her first try as well. Joined another small session. The crate dropped on the east side of San Andreas and I picked it up no problem. A chopper carrying three people was also going for it, but they only got to the eastmost freeway by the time I picked up the crate.

 

Crate drops - the only time when having a bad internet connection helps.

Was going for a crate when my game disconnected, tried to reconnect and it ran the intro cut scene for GTA online. Quickly closed the game and rebooted and it was fine.
