I like the base 5 t-shirt and all, but after 300 times it's not funny anymore. I'd love the have an actual random drop now.

 

No, you wouldn't...you'd be bitching and moaning that you got something you already did. This system is better. All you have to do is check here, see what shirt/hat is dropping, then go get it if you don't have it or do other things if you do. If you're just getting crates for new stuff and not the fun of getting the crate, this is by far the superior system.

 

To Fozzie, I had gotten the Base 5 shirt last night, totally unchallenged by the one other person in the session (since I kicked his ass a bit prior to the drop...I think he knew what the result would be), but then a minute or two after, the server errors started, then I got kicked from online. Checked this morning...no shirt. I'm trying to get another legit, but if not, I'll open a ticket.

 

I also agree, there should be some kind of availability checklist so you automatically don't get doubles. That would be the best method by far, but I'm pretty okay with this way as well.

 

 

 

Thanks for telling me what I'd and wouldn't like... Unfortunately, I can't play every day this week. As other people have said having the servers checked what items you already own and giving a random item, not owned yet, would be better.

Xlag can be a bit unpredictable, you choose your lag level - low, medium, high or insane, press the start button when you want to lag - best to wait until the 3 hour warning I think, although I have done it from 10 before - let it run for between 15 and 20 seconds, then press stop. If it works correctly, everyone will leave together withing the next 30 seconds. If it didn't work, either nothing will happen, or you will be kicked out of the session due to "unknown connection error". If so, just try again.

The lobby that you leave still get the crate, and you are left alone to get your's. This is not on the same level as COD lag switch BS.

I recommend UDP Unicorn. There are more setting to tweak as per your specific connection.

No. It will just say you have left the lobby. But on your end it says everyone has left the lobby.
