I read in the comment section at rockstar newswire that the only way people are getting blarney's or j-lager beer hats is if a modder or hacker are in the lobby and he/she puts the beer hat in the crate.

Might be true, might be false.

False. I have both Blarneys and J Lager hats from crates this event. One when Supa Wet beer hats were dropping and the other when Patriot hats were dropping too, there were only 5 of us in a private session and I know them all personally, definitely not modders/hackers. If anything it's a glitch because apparently you can't get them unless one of the other hats are dropping but in all honesty I think you'll find they have simply been made rare and harder to obtain by Rockstar on purpose.

 

 

Ohhh ok, sucks for me anyway because on December 29 my level 300 got reset to level 1 and all my unlocks locked, couldn't get special crate drops or pegasus vehicles. I immediately submitted a request at rockstar support but 7 days has passed and they haven't replied or fixed my problem, missed a lot of special items.

I'm REALLY disappointed that KJAH didn't drop but I'm also kind of glad this event is over. The last crate was a really hard to get. First time I couldn't pick it up, literally. I just pushed it around until someone else picked it up. The second time I got f*cked over which I won't forget and the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh time I just wasn't fast or good enough. Most of the crates I've picked up this event I've picked up the "honest" way. Guns blazing and everything, except for going in to passive when there was too much heat. I really don't care as long as you get the crate. Since I've used up all of my vacation days and have to go to work in two hours (it's 4:55 am here) and I've got a lot of things to do today I did something that earned me alot of cursing:

 

Passive the whole time, just hovering in the middle of the map and just before the drop notification popped up I went in to the armor menu and highlighted heavy armor. Then I flew like a little bird to the drop zone and waited for the crate icon to appear. I landed and started spamming the sh*t out of my armor and simply walked to the crate when everyone was killing the smugglers for me. Success! Haters are welcome to hate.

I hate how you're all excuses for the High Flyer Bag not coming is to have it all to yourself. That's just selfish.

 

Some of us couldn't get on that weekend to PLAY the event due to real life stuff or just not having time from work and other crap. That item like the mask(f*ck Lizard Squad) needs to return.

Ok, first of all I'm not your 'bruh' and it's spelt 'brother' speak properly if you've got a valid point to make. Second, there are no others who have made as many repeated posts as you, I can think of one but his picture is the troll face, making it obvious and a bit of fun. Thirdly, the picture part is actually a big thing, yes, you're taking it too far by attempting to bring peoples hopes up by showing the pictures, there's no joke or anything funny about it, you're simply trying to aggravate others who want the items, it's pointless and pathetic.

Damn that's unlucky. Iv heard if they don't reply to your ticket you can send them a tweet on twitter with your ticket number and they'll look right away. I lost a beer hat and they gave it back 3 days after I sent my ticket. Don't worry about the special items, they aren't needed to enjoy the game

i have been playing for the last hour, 4 crate notifications, once i receive the 3 hour notice nothing happen, the crate never drops!!!

This was the first time where I was stressful in a lobby where a crate was dropping and everyone lagged out. After the first batch of people lagged out, more people tried to join my session but couldn't. I was bombarded with "So-and-so left" notifications and my FPS dropped really badly. I was praying that my game wouldn't freeze or crash. Finally, the crate drops and I got my shirt.

 

 

 

I also had to get one for my male as well. No pics of him since the Rockstar servers were unavailable at the time he got the shirt. My male originally had the shirt during the I'm Not A Hipster Update, but it disappeared from his inventory and I didn't realize it until it was too late.
