I have pretty much been Crate Rushing solo but tonite Crew and Friends were awesome! We all took turns and either grabbed a crate or assisted each other. Good times.

It's definitely more fun when you can do it with crew/friends! You know, just chat, help each other, goof around between crate drops and not having to worry about getting a crate. That's something I've really been missing this time. I had so much fun with the guys I played with during the SA event and getting to know them. Granted, there were some idiots who took a crate and left but it was never a real problem. Sadly, the people I played with didn't make the jump from 360 to PS4 but you can always get to know new people! I think I will try to join an invite only session for the next item (please R*, make it KJAH!)

Nahh, it's just your neighbor, she couldn't find a wifi signal and figured you'd be out hunting crates all day, thought "wth I'll use Ol' Crazy Man's Computer from downstairs" and commenced her a good Ol' B&E, Internet Withdrawl is something terrible. She had to think about the baby ya know(Not that it couldn't be your thought,)

I got 8 Benedict Beer Hats in a row by 8am this morning (GMT), I only have the Blarney's beer hat left to get. I got the J-Lager one on the same day as the Patriot Beer Hat on the 5th and 6th crates, which makes me think that Blarney's is just a rare drop and in theory today would be the last day of getting it.

Has anyone on the planet got the Blarney's beer hat today to confirm my theory?

Hmmm very strange, I've picked up about 5 crates so far today (in hope there will be different items) and the first 4 were all benedict beer hats, but the one I picked up last was a pisswasser beer hat?

 

so clearly there are multiple items today, still got my fingers crossed for the Bounce FM and K-JAH tshirt the next 2 days

Has Rockstar confirmed that there were multiple items you could get during the drops? As far as I know...there weren't...which means, the others were glitched and worked in the player's favor for once.

 

But I doubt anyone can recreate the circumstances to make any of the rare items drop with any consistency.

Pictures of people with the special items doesn't prove that they got the items with todays crate drop, and few people can take pictures mid-gameplay; so that "proof" isn't foolproof.

We're getting pointlessly off-topic IMO, not everyone can video themselves getting crate drops with ease. But if you can, by all means do upload for the benefit of everyone else.

So many people exploiting passive mode to get crates. Special crate was on its way so I figured I'd go after it just for fun, and my competition was a dude in a Swift, in passive mode. We both land and I obviously can't focus on him cause of the smugglers, so as I'm trying to take them out, he comes out of passive and shoots me in the back. Rockstar should have made it to where if you're in the dropzone radius, passive is immediately deactivated, just like when you enter a gang attack in passive mode.
