changing sessions all the time and still not getting the crate notifictations....

Change sessions with your spawn location in your garage. As soon as you exit your garage you will get a notification if there is a special crate.

If you just join sessions anywhere on the map, you won't get the 10, 5 or 3 hour notification until it is actually supposed to show.

I go to the crate so he can get to it, but when he gets there, he can't pick it up even though he can see it. I ended up picking it up since he couldn't for another Benedict.

Happened to my friend before when the K-Rose T-shirt was dropping. He could see the special crate drop but couldn't pick it up. Ended up with me picking it up for another K-Rose tee.

Just got my Benedict hat!

 

I spawned in the lobby with the crate already dropped. I rushed over in my Zentorno and went off the radar. When I got there, there was 6 other people but no one noticed me and I picked it up as soon as it landed!

I was more curious at the fact that there were only 3 people in the session when the crate drop spawned out of nowhere. I've yet to see anyone get a special crate without having 4 people in to get a notification before this (in this round of crates). The glitchy crate part I knew about before this one.

They fixed it as far as selecting the spawn location in the garage. It's still a little random for me though. I mean I spawn at the property but not always in the garage.

So it wasn't just me that couldn't pick up a special crate and K-Rose shirt for my second character. I can still say a level 22 tore through a few Vagos and some crate hunters to get to it first.

Crate drop was glitched and everyone else in my lobby thought it was as well, but when I went to the crate drop logo on the map that no one paid attention to, the flare was white and the crate was there. Collected it and I now have 4 beer hats

Why every single day when the crates switch does every one act like this is there first day, it's one item per day, what do you not understand ? Yes some people in rare rare chances get a different random item, but there's more then likely an error of some sort. But I know tomorrow at 7 eastern time I'll check back and see 10+ people going OH GURD ITS 5 ITEMS TA DAY DURR DUR DURRRR -_-

Happened on my first lobby.. I clearly saw the crate drop icon across the map but everyone was busy ignoring it (either that or they just didn't see it) drove across the map only to get disconnected halfway there.

 

Thankfully on my next lobby I did manage to get the crate and met up with my buddy
