That crap looks like a T-shirt some intern at the friggin Gap photoshopped on the computer and forgot to make transparent before printing it out! >:U

 

I'm sorry to those that liked that radio station, but seriously, I would rather delete my character than have that abomination of a shirt on my account, ever.

I got a Bobo crate with my first character and the shirt never showed up in his inventory or at the store. Also got an emotion crate with my 1st character, nobody went for it so I banked the money, Hopped in chopper started to fly home to put on the shirt....connection error blah blah, signed back in and no shirt. Only had like 20 min before switch to the fever and never got it.

 

So Bobo and Emotion are the two shirts I didn't get for either character, but shoulda had for at least my main.

Figure that the Emotion t-shirt is based on a radio station in a game produced 12 years ago, which itself referenced a time period nearly two decades earlier..

 

of course the design is going to look dated/crap/retro...

 

get a frickin' grip, eh?

 

(and in way of support of this view, check the Bitch 'n' Dog Food t-shirt.. it's literally a direct copy of the logo from GTA III itself, i.e 13 years ago...)

Ok so I need to start building some information here but it would probably be best if the info is sent

as a PM rather than fill up an already large topic.

 

What I'm looking to find out is how many of you have had a Special Crate picked up and

the item has NOT gone into your wardrobe and is NOT available in the clothing stores if you

go look under Special Tops/Hats?

 

Currently I have found of the items I've picked up so far during the event the following have not

been saved

 

Flash FM T-Shirt

Statue of Happiness T-Shirt

Supa Wet Beer Hat

 

Now I'm not bothered about not having the items as 1 character has them but not the 2nd but

why I'm asking this is I want an idea of numbers affected so I can raise the issue with Rockstar

so we can find out what's going on with the clothing items disappearing.

Seriously, right? I mean, it would've looked cooler if they either put thin white border around the text and kept it black, or just made the whole shirt white!

- High Flyer parachute.

 

So that's 8 items for 6 days, and we have to add Blarneys and J Lager although these didn't drop in the past.

Omg just realized how fcked you guys without interaction menu are.. No Armor while going for crates

No armor (have to stop at an Ammunation before starting), have to pause>Online>Options>Passive to get in or out of Passive Mode, have to call Mechanic to get PV (and wait 6 minutes to call again), only way to equip/change masks is at the mask store by the beach, pause to change spawn point, no quick GPS... it sucks.

If we accidentally press select then we get to enjoy 10FPS until we change lobbies. Still managed to get 11 Special Crates with that character since the problem started, at least.

Mind Blown O.OLol, didn't want to take the time to get them the first time? What kinda sh*t is that? My ps3 broke so I couldn't play gta v so i went ahead and bought a ps4 and preordered gta v on NG. I had to have friends sign into my profile for me just to even attempt to get those special items for me. If that isn't "trying" then I don't know what is... An extra 2 days to compensate for the online outage wouldn't hurt anybody. Least of all someone like you, who doesn't seem to care about the crates... Edited December 30, 2014 by SonofLosSantos

Some people are making the mistake of going after the crates in passive mode while no armed smugglers have been killed. This one guy attempted to do just that. Since I don't do that passive mode BS, I didn't fire at the NPCs and let them bust a cap in his rear end. When he disabled passive mode, he took out some of the smugglers. Then I sniped him and picked up the crate.

 

You've gotta be a BEAST!

 

Either that or make sure you've got a full complement of body armour, pull up your quick menu and keep refreshing your armour whilst still in passive..

Sadly, I'm beginning to see this as being the likely outcome.

 

What is R*'s gig with these hats? Holding on to them for another event? I wish we'd get some acknowledgement about what at least they intend to do. Perhaps another Q and A on their website with this specific question...

During the San Andreas flight school update there was a playlist that you had to play in order to unlock it.

 

As far as I know it is no longer available.

Yes you no longer get the bag from the Playlist event which is why I am hoping its one of the items

in these last six days of the event.
