Did a complete re-install and I still cannot access my interaction menu on my main character. PS3 + digital version of GTA V.

For the people new to this thread, deleting your game data or save files won't fix anything, so all we can do is keep reporting this issue @mouthoffrockstargames and to their support page it's the only way unfortunately, and maybe, just maybe we will see a fix in the next update. Because I doubt they will do anything about it during the holidays, especially with all the other trouble they facing with these basement kid ddoser's. Merry christmas y'all.

My inventory menue dissapears again. So I cleaned the cache and it was back again. Unfortunately I was scrolling to my hats, and it dissapeared again. Cleaned the cache, pressed LB and RB till my index fingers were hurtin.But it doesn`t help. well. Rockstar didn``t fix it and they say that only a few people got this problem and those few people should just unconnect all cables from their console, and then Jesus will all save us. hallef*ckinluja

The IM dissapeared as my female charakter put on festives clothes. My second charakter didn`t bought any f*ckin christmas clohes and is well fine.

I think R got tired of my sh*t on the support page. They completely removed any festive items including the snow from my game wtf lol But my game is working properly. It was weird though I couldnt sign on even though I was signed in to psn then they said I had files missing and when I got online everything was back to normal...

 

Im gonna have to reboot and double check this .

 

f*ck me I restarted and its back lol that sh*t right there tells me all they have to do is remove the masks to fix our games

So I thought I saved the day and christas for billions of GTA fans. I was sure that you would sometime tell your grandchildren about me hero who saved the game. Unfortunately I have failed. My Inventory Menue is gone again and I tried every trick I knew. But it doesn`t work anymore. Let`s hope it all goes to normal when those f*ckin festive clothes dissapears.

I just got this after going to the mask shop and getting a bunch of the FREE masks from the festive update.

 

Cant open Interaction Menu and frame rate issues.

 

Neither of this has ever happened before.

They DO realise that. They made a feeble attempt to fix it, but left it low on their list of priorities simply because it is not a money glitch.

 

Expect it to remain unchanged until the next update...

It's fixed for me! I don't know why. I just got online around 4AM EST and my interaction menu came up, there is still a slight "lag" right after pressing the Select button, but it goes away quickly and then the menu shows up.

Is it still fixed after you shut down and restart your console?

 

Oh not sure if mentioned in this thread but the gang attack trick works for me atleast on ps3. You have to be quick cuz the basterds are shooting at you but you can temporarily access the menu long enough to change your settings.

And WTF, in that article they say its the Valentines Day masks that were removed....when it was the festive ones that were f*cking things up....did they remove the wrong things? Seriously WTF.

Still broken for me on PS4, but only on my second character. The only difference is that I bought all the 4th July masks on it, so that might be the issue?

I have not been on to check my PS3 game today but I noticed the article marking this resolved

only 208 out of 557 found their article helpfull so seems a lot of players still affected by this

and I notice they seem to have reopened the topic on this problem so I guess they've

realised the fix hasn't worked!

 

As of writing there were four ticket posts on the first page about this not resolving the issue.

 

My ticket still isn't showing on support site so I will file it again after work.

I've had an open ticket for a couple of days with the interaction menu bug (xbone)

Tier 1 support replied with a link to the resolved article, I replied back stating its not resolved on xbox one.

My ticket is still open.

Yes I got all the free festive update masks, but I don't understand why the Valentine masks broke the menu when it was working perfectly before the festive extras.

 

The only time I got the interaction menu to open was at the very end of a gang attack, from when I tried to open it minutes before.

Interestingly my Valentine masks are still in the interaction menu, but are not in my apartment menu.

I know on one guys ticket he got a couple responces. The last they told him to delete and reinstall updates. So I figure once he does that and if it doesnt do anything we will see what their next step will be. I am very doubtful lol

 

I dont know if im more pissed now or im gonna be more pissed if it fixes itself on the 6th and the fact they wont just come out and say it. It will be really f*cked up if they knew all along all they had to do was remove the xmas crap to get us back in order.

Well I know for a fact deleting the updates and reinstalling the game data is a FAIL because that was the first thing I did on PS3

yesterday afternoon.

 

I think I know what's happened and it sounds like they've not actually removed the masks from the game if they still appear in the

inventory menu (when its working) that sounds like the patch has only hidden them in the apartments and not fixed the issue at all

because they are still present on the interaction menu itself..

 

Either way its very poor, I'm not impressed and if as you say it fixes itself on the 6th then you are quite right to feel pissed with R*
