Haven't been on yet, but just wondering, did any of you guys delete the dlc update and then tried to download the patch cause that's what I am about to do, see if that works.

I haven't been on yet today either. I tried it the first day, deleted the title update too

first I removed the christmas sweater but I didn't think about the tattoos, not sure if it matters. Didn't work though

I haven't tried that myself, but I've read about other people completely removing everything, reinstalling GTA and the patches and the problem still being there..

Yeah, looks like they only attempted to do a quick fix on the "can't join friends & tutorial" issue and haven't even found or looked up the problem concerning the interaction menu, shameful.

I'm not sure what happened to mine then... I'm on PS3 and all I did was download the update, jump into an online session and my inventory menu could open up again. Not sure why so many other people are having problems.

Cheers!

Did you buy a third apt? Or wearing any new tattoos or clothing? Someone on 7 sins said theirs is fixed too after riding in a bus with other players lol

This is getting really annoying. To me, the Interaction Menu is one of the most important (or huge) things in GTA Online. Without it, you're screwed! For example: You're really close to getting that special crate but you're about to die, well better luck next time because without the Interaction Menu, you can't access body armor and snacks. This is the same thing for missions, survivals, etc...

I called to him by name each time I logged in all weekend, I even used his middle initial. Its H by the way

I didn't even get this bugfix update but someone must have hotfixed it while it was at work, I'm not giving rockstar credit on this one though, lol

Anyway, I bid this thread farewell, and I wish everyone affected by this problem the best of luck and I hope you can make the best of the GTA snow and the holidays in general. I'm only sincere once a year, today is that day. Namaste brothers and sisters

The only temp fix is to go into the gang attack circle and you should be able to open the menu

My Inventury Menue works again.

Now This is what I had done:

  • On Xbox 360/Xbox One: Clear your system cache, then Hold LB + RB while booting the game
  • On PS3 or PS4: Clear your game data (NOT save data) from the Game Data Utility in the XMB (system menu). Afterwards, hold L1 + R1 while booting the game.

Note: This will also reset your brightness settings and choice of language in GTAV.

This was a solution for a connection problem. Luckyly it also solved the inventory menue problem.

Try it yourself and share the solution if it works for you too.

The L1+R1 trick it's only change the language for who have a console language system different from the supported language of GTA V. I don't see how this trick can solve the problem. Anyway i tried and it dosn't work.

I found the Valentine day masks, they're just not showing up in the menu. As soon as you enter the mask store go to the masks then press "UP ONCE" and there they are! Hope this helps.

Has anyone figured out how to do this on the PS4?

I suppose with game data you don't mean deleting the entire game? Others apparantly already tried that and said it didn't work.

Yep, and honestly I don't see them fixing it anytime soon, their biggest concern with GTA Online is not even about all these game breaking bugs and glitches, some of those that have been out there for months and months, it's really just all about cash and the more people they can gather up to play their award winning game. I mean look what they did with those challenges that earned some people millions just by farming Criminal records a few days ago, hotfixed within hours. The can't join friends/tutorial problem, also fixed within a day once everyone started complaining, and then look at this, tomorrow it will be a week already that some of us PS4 and X1 users can't access their damn interaction menu at all. So as long as it doesn't mess with the "game's economy' these problems have no priority whatsoever...

In order to get anything done about this I would suggest leaving comments on iCrazyTeddy YouTube channel/vids, and if you don't know him, no worry cause R* does. This is problably the highest chance we have of getting a fix for this ASAP!!

I've even tried clearing my ps 4 cache and everything else on it trough reinitialising it and then installing gta on a clean system but, you guessed it => the problem persists..

Also made a ticket last thursday and after one standard non helpfull answer, nothing. I've even added more and more info to my ticket everday but to this day still nothing..

I feel your pain man, been trough he same stuff already, twice, as I only own GTA V on PS4. I deleted all save files, game data ect., reinstalled everything on a "clean" system, but that doesn't solve the problem, it's a conflict between some of the items our online characters own and we can't unfortunately get rid of any of those items which has been stupid since day one. I still don't see how we could just get rid of a few things in our wardrobe just the same way we can get rid of tatoos, they were so "clever" to use the same system they used for non contact races and implement it into a better passive mode feature, why can't they figure sh*t like this out, makes me wonder.
