Never seen it before, but my Hairstyle keeps changing between Surfer Dude and Shorter Cut. I start a Session with Shorter Cut, then either at the start of a Job or when I return to a Session it changes to Surfer Dude. Just now it was Surfer Dude after a DM, I changed Invite Only Session and in the space of 10s was back to Shorter Cut again...Does not bother me but never seen it before.

 

Think it has something to do with a corrupted/interrupted cloud save attempt.

* Posted this elsewhere, but have encountered a string of missing special crates tonight on PS3. The 10, 5, and 3-hour notices are given, and then...nothing. No plane, no crate. This happened in 4-5 servers...not sure what's up?

 

* The following happened before 1.20 (PS3 anyway); but in the transit tunnel near the tall under-construction building (State St.?), wanted levels are erratic (come and go when you stay stationery, and difficult to get rid of), with glitching chopper spotlights sometimes coming through the roof of the tunnel, NOOSE/cop voices and gunshots (actually hitting you). Cops and NOOSE can also be partially or fully invisible as they attack you...but they often aren't physically there. Something big is broken somewhere in one of the patches or latest hotfixes--the NPCs are in effect "seeing" through the ground into the tunnels.

 

* Just in case no-one has mentioned this, I also reported the disappearing body armor bug to R*; basically, any body armor you "use" filling the bar with blue will disappear (needing to be repurchased) when you change sessions (invite or public; doesn't matter). It's never retained between sessions, so it can get annoying/costly over time.

USUALLY, I cannot put enough emphasis USUALLY, but USUALLY the cause of a Special Crate NOT Dropping after the 3 Hour Alert is due to some player starting a Gang Attack AFTER the 3 Hour Alert. This SEEMS to be the only problem with the Crate Drops so far with this crate drop, well I take that back, we also have the "Grey Smoke Bug" but this again USUALLY happens when someone who does NOT have Crate Drops unlocked reaches(or is taken to) the Crate Drop before other players, the Grey Smoke indicating that they cannot pick it up, BUT this cause the Crate to NOT be able to be picked up by a number of players, but weird thing is NOT all players, no one has yet figured out what makes you be affected or not. BUT the "Grey Smoke Bug" is Much much rarer.

Now as for the Armor not sticking between sessions, that is not a bug or a glitch or new, that has been here since day one, October 1st 2013.

 

To answer this, which is new(to me) and I will add it to the LG section:

Yes, this was mention in the "Day One" thread the 1.01 update thread, and to explain the "always open" he means, as opposed to having to glitch into the little gap in the wall o any of that crap, you can now simply walk through the doors on the tower, but this is to due with the upcoming Heists and the military raid shown in the trailer and screen shots,(with the hunter and armored patriots)

I think me getting the Green Benedict Beerhat was simply a fluke, like the few players that have gotten the J. Lager or the Blarney Beerhats, I guess they are kind of glitched, but I did get it on the 30th right before the snow came(the 31st GMT).

Don't know, haven't been online in awhile, I am about to go online now though. (now that the boy & wife are asleep the Wall will play, lol... ...I hope)

 

I have found that if you CANNOT join a Regular Online Session you CAN usually Join an Invite Only Session, you aught to try that.

Well, I have seen video too, BUT that could be a modder. See I've been wondering if a modder has anything to do with these rare hats, like when they use to be able to mod what was going to be inside the crate, if they are doing that but we are the ones grabbing it, it would explain the few people that have gotten J. Lager and Blarney Hats too. And when I got the Benedict hat on New Year's Eve(Early Morning before it was snowing in-game) and Everyone else was apparently getting Patriot Hats. And even this one below:
