The Ost Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Is it me or are the brakes like totally non-existent on it?!?!? Been having all kinds of ridiculous/hilarious screw ups with it. It's like trying to learn how to master the Panto again... while drunk and high... >.< Have you driven a car from the 50s? All 4 drum brakes dont work all that well irl lol I wasn't even BORN in the 50s.. Srsly though.. I don't think we Brits did those kind of cars in the 50s.. I mean FFS, we were driving around in Morris Minors... There was the Ford Consul, but the utility version was only available in the colonies.... When you drive them through large puddles the brake actually stop working till the water clear out the drum. Though my 1978 Cadillac Eldorado I imported had 4 disc brakes. You don't even need to hold the brake on to do a do-nut I'll post some pics of mine once its light in game Steers and brakes like the hotknife but I like it. Don't have pics yet PS3 version is cabernet red and PS4 matte black the hotknife performs like a zentorno compared to the slamtruck.Did they change it or whatever? Bc the zentorno handles way way way better then the hotknife. Was thinking about getting another garage and putting Roosevelt, Slamvan and whichever classic type cars together. The only thing i wish this thing had was a ln option to add a bed cover like the Slamvan in GTA SA had. I bought this thing for as a collectable then something to regularly drive in. No classic should ever have to suffer neon..Idk the Lowriders look kinda cool. I've seen some lead sleds in real life with neon, looks nice. I actually did put neon on this truck. As long as the color makes sense I think it gives it a nice boulevard cruiser vibe. Although, I do agree on the majority of classic cars, it does not fit. ZANTHERA Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) Looks like Matte Black with Pearl Red, this is possible through a glitch to add a pearl to either the Matte or Metal colours. To do this In LS Customs set the Matte colour as what ever you want then go to Metallic but don't buy any colours, back completely out of paints and go to plates change the plate background and go back to re spray, go straight to primary, then pearlescent and you can then add a Pearlescent to Matte or Metal, I use it for metals to add Cream Pearl to Pure Gold as it is far more realistic than the awful bright yellow it has as a pearl, or I use it with Dark Steel and add Frost White to make it look like Brushed Chrome. In fact at the moment my Slamvan is Matte Black and Dark Red with Bronze Pearl, you must note that the pearl you put on will be a lot brighter in the sunlight, so adding red to Matte black makes it look a bit Salmon Pink.
