It's one of the steel paints Restoring my SlamVan..but I'm stuck on a colour,so for the time being she's just raw steel.. Damn you really dropped this, looks sick. I have despised Chrome vehicles from the first day I played GTA:O, yet strangely, this is the best looking Slamvan I have seen yet... the camber is real Is that what the "competition" suspension option looks like on all vehicles on current gen? Well,it's not chrome.. It's Brushed Steel.. Like I said I'm stuck on what colour I'd like so it's like that at the moment & thanks for the compliment. It has the competition suspension, I have also shot the middle of the wheels to lower the car further & to add the camber effect shoot out the tyres on the opposite side,wheels on the other side will angle in.. Purely for aesthetic looks for photos though,obviously once the tyres are blown,driving is rubbish..but, if you wanna rip doughnuts it's a good time Nah that isn't chrome. I've never noticed it on 360, but I haven't really explored every single paint option either... The irony is that this is the exact same look that I wanted for my '67 GMC, before I realized that the "incomplete" look would be like 3x more expensive than a proper paint job... Retired Mafia Posted December 31, 2014 Share Posted December 31, 2014 SlamVan and I #day10 I was shopping in the ammunation, my SlamVan was parked outside. when i got out of the store i noticed someone was sitting in my car, and it was set to everybody. he was honking to me, so i got into my own car. the guy probally never drove a slamvan before, he kept spinning out, crashing into things, so he got out, i got into the driver seat and went to LSC, with the stranger in the passenger seat. afther i got it repaired i noticed someone was on the roof, i didn't thrust that guy on the roof so i got out and shot him down. i was waiting for the stranger to get into my car so we could quickly take off, but before he even got in i got the text that a 9000$ bounty was set on me! i knew i wasn't save. i drove off and knew it was the right dissision because the stranger started shooting me! i quickly made a getaway, and wanted to drive to the airport to get a private jet. i was getting close to the LSC on the south side of the city and while being chased by someone in a minicooper i got an idea. i went off the radar, went through the fence, and hid between some probs. it was funny to see the guy get so close to me and not noticing me. probally one of my best moments on gta... my hiding spot afther he was gone: (got a private jet aftherwards and escaped!) well a happy new year to everybody! make sure your slamvan won't be sitting in your garage collecting dust next year! take it out for a drive on a regular base! any breaking bad fans under the slamvan lovers? if so you're gonna like #day11 (this story is from yesterday, had it ready but forgot to post it, hopefully still snow tomorrow for some snow adventures, no time to get on today.) totally_blown and xxJ0n4Th0Nxx 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lingster Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) I was wandering around town when I came across this old rusted out hulk of a truck sitting in the storm drainage basin. I noticed that it was an old Vapid, probably from the 50s. it looked like it had seen better days and needed a lot of work to restore. I had it towed to my local mechanic and she started work on it. Fabricated some parts, a lot of patch repair, some replica parts ordered from online. I had the truck primered and took it out for a test drive. the mechanic said there was an issue with the rradiatorleaking. She crawled under to fix it with her tool kit. Back at the shop, the truck was running smoothly. A little squirrely in the back end, but that's to be expected with this type of truck. I settled on a color, and had it sprayed. it was a very costly color combination, Matte green, with a pearl top coat. I'm satisfied with it. A peacefull evening untill some drunk people starting screaming. I got annoyed by it, luckily slamvan knew a way to get rid of it. Then i got hired by 2 guys who wanted to transport a panto and an ATV. We tried to jump the Panto in the truck bed, but the Panto was too big. They called in SlamVan's uncle, he's a towtruck. We got the ATV in the truck bed, and it was ready for transport! Even though i did a great job the guy didn't seem to be too happy... So afther i got paid i took care of him....
