yes but look at your picture. then look at the example you provided.

the example is simplistic and retains enough visual context that you can fill in the gaps and focuses on an easy to interpret subjects a man, women, and light fixture each distinct from one another.

ponder the inspiration or the emotion its meant to elicit. romance, love, a couple sharing a kiss after a date at sunset.

yours dosent do that. theirs not enough context to understand why you took the picture or what its meant to be. just a guy standing near a bush or tree? is he ment to be standing with the city in the background? is he sad? happy? taking a piss in a bush? and the buildings in the background make to much nose on a relatively mute medium. you cant tell where one thing ends and the other begins.

try a similar photo but with less in it. pick the physical subject of the photo. set it against the sun to make an even lit silhouette and keep your background shot free of anything unnecessary and make sure anything you do have in the background dosent over take your subject and make sure that your subject is easily identifiable.

I'll keep all of that in mind. Thank you for the constructive criticism!

It's a bit cliched to be honest, I think I'm going to have to give it just 6/10 - sorry Bumpy

4/10. No offense, but it'd honestly look better if your character wasn't in the shot, because the angle is decent to capture a good chunk of LS in the background. But if you really wanted your character to pop up in this one, you should've messed with the camera settings.

7/10. It's funny seeing what looks like a special agent using a phone during their mission. Still, nice colours, use of depth of field and lighting. Not much else to comment, it's a good picture.

8/10 I like that impending doom vibe. Nice angle you got them both stretching their wings.

9.5/10 - Great photo, definitely a movie vibe. Nice composition and focus on the key aspects of the photo. Nice filter too!

Not expecting a high rating for this one, just thought it looked neat.

(i know i didnt use dept and filters and anything that adds to picture if i take my time im capable of doing that but right now i felt i need to stay simple to see what people think of it as it is)

6/10. Snaps without filters are fine, but i wasn't a fan of the composition. Good effort nevertheless.

10/10. Simply fantastic. The lighting over the coat and the shadow smartly hiding the character's head creates a fantastic noir-vibe for this one. The blurred background that looks a lot like something out of the 40s is a very nice touch as well. Amazing snap!

8/10 - kind of reminds me of another game where you play co-op as two criminals and I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called.

Edit: Remembered it, Kane & Lynch

5/10. I like the way it was set up and timed with the moon in the background, but the sidebars and generic angle make this photo not look very interesting.

9.5/10 - Deffo got that creepy, darkness vibe to the photo. Nice usage of the filter too!
