nopenope3
Every single major game that has GFWL has now converted to Steamworks. Now it's GTA 4's turn. https://www.change.org/p/remove-gfwl-from-gta-4-and-gta-eflc
Girish
Does R* even take notice of these petitions? I don't think so. If removal of GFWL is in the pipeline, then I'm sure R* will do it. GroundZero
lexus232
I think Rockstar has abandoned GTA 4. Naroon
PhillBellic
Just use xlive.dll (Xliveless). I use it and it saves me so much hassle in regards to GFWL.
WATER DRAGON
It's not that bad. I know it sucks having both Steam and GFWL running but you really think removing it will some how make the game better? Just make an offline account so you don't have to worry about sign ins or anything. Getting Xliveless won't make any difference in performance. Trust me it's useless. Naroon
Except using xliveless isn't a solution for people who solely want to play the game's decent multiplayer. I can't even play MP because GFWL's borked servers refuses to download my profile no matter what I try.
