The BEST car in overall stats(handling, acceleration, strenght) that you can get for free on the streets is the Sultan, it has all of that and seats 4 players.
But you won't be winning races in that car because it can't keep up with many other cars in it's class.

I like a car that's bullet proof from the rear. I believe you can add upgrades to the Rusty Rebel and the Sandking XL that achieve this. Adding rear louvers to the Dominator doesn't work though.

 

Best performing free cars are the RH8, Sultan and the Zion/Felon in my opinion.

Can you get hard tops of the Zion and Felon ?

 

zion (convertible is zion cabrio) and felon (convertible is felon gt). hardtop felon is 4 door though.

 

Any ideas where to find the zion and the felon? I always see the soft top ones but not the hard tops

Head to Vinewood Hills in a Solo session.

Try and grab an Oracle or Zion Cabrio to drive while searching.

Shouldn't take more than 15-30 min.

Starting out in GTAO, I recommend getting a Karin Sultan, Karin Futo as well as a Ubermach Sentinel and a Pegassi Ruffian.

Coupe:F620 it's the best in it class

Muscle:Dominator and gauntlet both best in there class only real difference is which driving style you prefer

Sedan:shafter(not really sure how it's spelt) best in it's class and best looking in its class

Compact: prairie best car you can find on the street in its class rhapsody is better tho

 

 

As far as sports,sports classic,super and off road you best bet is buying them as the ones you find off the street will get beat in a race every time they do look pretty tho

The Blade A is not the best Muscle and B don't even spawn for free.

The Exemplar again is not the best Coupe and costs 175k

Was gonna post the exact same thing.The game is really noob friendly now.

 

I remember the dark days of being level 20 and trying to kill someone with a sniper with my uzi..

 

After a few rounds of RR or any other high ranking mission, you can pretty much set yourself up for the rest of your GTA life.

 

You've got DLC weapons which own in their own class. You've got the HEAVY pistol, bullpup/special carbine and auto shotty.

 

You can get the Elegy for free if you sign up to Social club and your second car can be a Sultan which is for free.

 

In addition to this, jump into FT Z, learn to fly the jet and you'll be unstoppable.

The Sultan is easily the best car you can acquire off the streets. Put on the roll cage and it upgrades the car to a Sultan RS. Which is probably my favourite car on the whole game.

 

For muscle, look no further than the Phoenix. It's a beaut.

Schafter

Ocelot F620

Karin Rebel 4x4

Sentinel XS

Zion

Felon

 

They're all great cars to own.

Ocelot F620 is the best. It may say its in the Coup car list but its faster than most of the sports cars & sounds better too.

If you get the Elegy for Sports, which is a top car in that class from what the talk is.,Why would you bother with a Sultan for the Sports class? Sultan isn't all that. For Coupes it seems Oracle ( both versions),Felon,Zion and the F620 from what I have owned were pretty good for me. Sandking for Off Road is a given.

 

Best thing to do is go watch the YouTube video's on this. Broughy1322 I believe is the guy who you want to check out on the vids. I believe you'll see all the hype for a Sultan is misplaced after watching the vids.

The Elegy (sports) is the best free car. You can "buy" it for free if you're on social club.

 

 

As for the best free cars per class:

 

 

Sports: Elegy, Sultan, Fusilade

 

Coupe: Zion/Zion Cabrio, Felon, Jackal

 

Classic: Manana

 

Muscle: Dominator, Ruiner, Sabre Turbo

 

Sedan: Shafter, Tailgater, Fugitive

Compact: Blista, Issi

If I was solely looking for more interesting customizations I would go for the Rebel or the Bodhi. In my opinion.

I find the XL far more often. I rarely see the SWB spawn.
