I hope the mercs now use the APC and shoot from the turret alongside their jeeps. I always found hiring the mercs pretty useless. They'd send a few jeeps which can be outrun and mercs armed with pistols I think. (Seriously? I THINK they sometimes use the m4 or shotgun.)

 

Giving them these APC's would add a bit more bite and IMHO would make me hire them more often.

You can, in the picture with the new desert camo helicopter look at the left, there's an APC arraving and if you look closely you can see a player hanging in the side of said APC.
