Heists requires people at rank 12 or above... REALLY?

A Level 12 who is experienced can still help out. A Christmas n00b you can tell is a christmas n00b no matter their level. You can tell by how bad they are just by watching the death blips and the status screen at the end. I wonder if there is a way to vote kick a scrub crew member off if he is bring your crew down and a hindrance and bring another crew member in.

I hope so, but I also have a feeling this will lead to griefing too.

Easy. Kick the out of the crew. I'm not talking about the mission, I mean kick them out of the SC crew if you don't like them.

I couldn't give a f*ck about the level.

Nobody here plays GTA completely alone, we have crews and friends that we can play with.

You don't want a low level player f*cking up your precious heist? Just don't play with them and let them have fun with their crews.

I would just kick the noobs. Whenever I do missions with randoms (which isn't often because randoms suck) its always some low level who runs into the middle of a fight with a pistol and dies in 3 seconds. If there was no other option, I would set up the cut so I get 100% and they get nothing because they're useless.

Heists should be available from at least Rank 30 or 40. I don't want some 12 year old armed with only a pistol executing the plan and teammates.

Locking off content like that is just stupid and promotes more grinding.

Also, who the f*ck is going to be pubbing heists anyways? Get some friends then playing with noobs wont ever be a problem.

Level makes no difference. You are either a team player or not. There is no way of telling. Im sure there are really awesome level 12s that want to play the heists out right/best of ability. And I am sure there are level 100+ that are complete douches that will screw it up. Thats my take on it...

I guess we will wait and see how it plays out. But a persons level in no way reflects how they participate in a heist/mission.

I will be leading a team from brand new fresh level 12's to heist glory! They will be the fruit of my loins! I will mold them into heisting machines!

Locking it to a high level is crap, plain and simple. Not everybody plays GTA Online all the time. I tend to switch between games depending on what I feel like. I've had GTA V since it was released on PS3, then on PS4. But I've made new characters over time as well as not played for long periods. I'm not going to be locked out because the people who only play GTA Online are getting sore over it. Half you c*nts have probably glitched billions whenever the f*ck that sh*t was going on, so i don't know why a low level getting 100 grand and some points bothers you so much.

Get over it.

Actually I am glad low levels will be able to do heists, leveling up is so annoying with those repetitive missions, and everyone should be able to have fun, why not ?

If you want to avoid people f*cking up join a crew or make friends

Heists will bring more players to gta, especially on next gen or "current gen" if you prefer.

All these new players will appeal a bit less if they have to grind for a month to be able to play heists.

It's just another way to sell more copies of the game pure and simple.

Any new account can get to level 12 in a good night or two solid game play. Moot issue really.

It's not R*'s fault for allowing a newb to play heists, it's the leaders fault for choosing a newb.

Plus, there's probably beginner level heists that are just suited for low levels.

LEVEL !2? F*CKING LUDICRUS DECISION!

Realistically the only level 12's who will have any confidence regarding strategy etc. are those who are playing their 2nd character as they acquired gameplay experience through many many hours on their high rank 1st character.

I once joined a Coveted mission (original version) with my 2nd character who was level 3 or 5 at the time, I flew the helicopter, collected and dropped off the crate with perfect precision, the other players must've thought I got lucky or knew I was playing my 2nd character.

The hiest leader pays for the hiest set up i guess he picks who is in the hiest and this is also why you will get a bigger cut

They should just have it like the missions and you have to be a certain level before you can host certain missions.

Then if the host doesn't want the low level he can kick them.

Look, Lester (aka Rockstar) clearly said that we weren't ready. They had to wait until enough of us got to rank 12 before they could release heists. :p

Ranks means nothing in this game. I created a second character and am level 35 or so with him and more often than not I'm the last one alive when I play with randoms ranked a lot higher than me.

The only difference is my health. The DLC weapons are a game changer because this is my second second character and the first time I did it the DLC weapons weren't available.

Lv 21 is enough ( got DLC rifles , standard sniper paired marksman sniper , all thrown weapons , micro SMG for Drive Bys , a shotgun & ability to call lester for bribe cops to lose wanted levels ; can be applied with all occupant for 1 person to call lester , same goes off-radar and blind eye )

not to mention to have fast 4 door car

if that's is not enough , how about lv 25 ? u can get bulletproof tires

I dunno, while you do have a point, heists should be available to everyone. I'd say lvl 30 or something would be better. And to add to your argument: having newbs on a heist mission really doesn't go well with anyone, they'd screw up the entire thing, resulting in a lower payout for everyone.

This but if you play with a lvl 12 chances are they will mess up the heist anyways

Hmm... Level 12 players will have rubbish gear and no health. Against military soldiers with aim-bot...

Yeah there Is no way I'm working with them. Even if they are good, they are at just too poor an advantage for me to risk working with them. I'm only working with level 75's or higher.

That's what I worry about...failing heists because the inexperienced noob.

Although my guess is, if someone dies during their part of the Heists, someone else will be chosen to complete the task?

Who knows, I do agree that Heists will be a big fail unless players really put some time into driving, flying, swimming, shooting, and using explosives, which we all know, at rank 12, you don't even get fireworks.

God help us all.

Implying level 12 = 12 year old

and implying 12 year old don't reach level 30 or 40.

People cried when they thought they were locked until 60, and they cry about the lower requirement, Rstar can't win can they?

Pretty sure there will be kids who:

- wants to be the leader and then set low wage to the rest of the team

- wants the leader to set high wage on him

Rockstar should have some kind of a correct minimum/maximum wage system to prevent this.

Due to lower Stamina you perform actions slower (Combat rolling is painful on my Rank 27), naturally have less access to Heavy Weapons, can not call up the Buzzard or Tank or use Several Lester abilities which could all be of use to varying degrees during Heists. Couple this with inexperienced players and I can see why people are complaining.

However, experience in playing the game will win out I agree and if you are playing a 2nd Character in most situations you are only playing with a limited disadvantage compared to higher ranked players.

Edit: Lack of Shooting Stat will be the biggest downfall to helping a team in shoot outs for lower ranked players. Slower reloading, slower actions in general and significantly reduced rounds held.

Idea for friendly fire in missions:if killed once by a teammate the teammate is kicked from the job.

Of course there are level 100+ who are still noobs. But it's safe to guess that level 1 is total noob, who even still don't know much about GTA Online.

nillmodz mentioned jeff can revived dead crew member . but even if we can revive them infinitely , they still hamper the process of the heist
