Heists requires people at rank 12 or above... REALLY?

Pretty stupid that people here are SERIOUSLY saying that the minimum required level should be 75/100/500. Heists are supposed to be end-game content. It's completely disrespectful to the true GTAO fans (those of us who've grinded/cheated their way to level 999) for Cockstar to unlock Heists for peasant level 1 noobs.

RIP GTAO GG C*

The leader decides the cut. So if you are the leader and don't like that level 12 you could be a d*ck and give them a small cut.

Then the player leaves and ruins everything

Then it'd be like the Italian Job and there'd be another heist to steal the money back.

Some people just annoy me. Rank does not indicate skill. I've seen a lot of high level players that are bad at the game. And no more of these unrealistic high level unlock demands. Rank 125+ for heists is what some people want? Really?

Could not agree anyone, ive gotten my ass handed to me before by guys 1/8 my rank & bested guys/girls my rank or double so rank just=experience not skill.

Maybe a lv60 unlock.I made a second character that's lv20 now and you really have very little health, your car crumples like a tin can if you crash and you can carry very little ammo.

I see level 100+ jerks all the time! The level doesn't say anything about how you play! I am 200+ and I can f*ck up a mission just as well as a level 12 can. Maybe I am even more likely to do it as I could be bored.

Don't have an argument for RP, but it's not like a level 3 can be driving around in a Adder is it? Cash cards fella, cash cards

Yes, he can. That is if he has earned the money with another character (if he has one).

That was my point, in my jabbering way, that the cash is easy to come by if you really want it

When you're lvl 12 skill doesn't make a difference. I recently restarted and as a veteran GTA player I struggled to get through certain missions by myself (missions like Death from Above), while now (currently lvl 50) I breeze through those and more difficult missions. The sole reason being that I now have the correct gear and my health is 40/100 instead of 0. A better example may be survival missions: when I was lvl 12 I couldn't even hope to complete survival by myself, while now I can easily achieve Boneyard and others by myself.

rank makes no difference. you're a 2bit petty thug regardless of whether your rank 2 or 200.

being rank 100 doesnt mean your treated any differently or more or less notorious across los santos. than if your rank 1.

the reason for this is nothing a player does is remembered. you've completed 1000 missions for martin he doesn't remember any of them. you're treated just the same as a guy who whos never run a single mission for martin.

so theres really no reason to require players to be a high rank to participate in heists.

there's also the fact that so few players actually make it to 25 or even 50. using ps4 trophy data only 15% of players make it to rank 50. suggesting the other 85% give up because there's nothing to do in the game except grind the same old crap. so blocking 85% of your players from taking part in heists is a very bad move.

gtao suffers a real lack of structure and content and this is what turns many players away. so again having a high requirement on heists would be bad

Lvl doesn't say sh*t. I reset my second character each time it reaches level 100.

Its an Easter Egg DUH!!!

Level 12 = 12 year old.

Yes! This game is made for 12 years old to ruin the fun out of another player!

Yeah they should rise it to at least 50. I mean when I`ll start playing on PC, I`ll be rank 170 something, while my friends will be either rank 20 something or a fresh character. It would take no less than a day to get them a high end apartment and a supercar.

I think it should be 120 and above LOL. At least give 90% of the gaming community a reward.

I'm just saying from experience having to re-level up, it's been a little frustrating getting easily killed because my health stats are low, and not having access to an LMG, grenade launcher, RPG, heavy sniper, or minigun to help pull my own weight during a mission.

I also had to wait until rank 43 to purchase a Buzzard. I'm not complaining, I'm still able to pull of missions without these things, but I feel like I'm gonna want these things come Heists.

Luckily I've been playing GTA for almoat a year now, so I can still perform without these things, but new and unskilled players won't be so lucky.

Who cares, leader can give their widows a cut after they die in the first 2 minutes of heist

Looks like OP doesn't like people leveling up quicker and doing more fun missions just because he spends more time on a video game than them/thread

I think this is bad idea. So people witch a such low rank will earn +100k $ and a lot of RP? It should destroy the contribution of people who have spent a lot of hours to be at high rank. IMO Heists should be available at rank 75 minumum... It's like a pickpocket has become a day-to-day to professional thieft. C'mon R*...

Just as well you're not a Rockstar dev' then.

I can see why some of you think it's too low or a rank, but IMO it should have been somewhere around the 25 mark.

I have no problem working with low ranks provided that they know how the sh*t is going down. A lot of high ranks are noobs too and I have kicked high lvl ass with a rank 5 character when I was working with my second character. It all depends on the person.

Not that it matters to me because I will play with crew members and friends, rarely with strangers if at all.

I'm sure R* made room for error. If a level 12 dies or messes up, I'm sure there will be a way to compensate the loss and cut him out of the cash award.

not really that big of a deal. as a crew leader you create you own crew to pull off jobs. Dont invite low levels. Also dont join randoms, I think that has been established in contact missions though.

Well this was supposed to be released back when everyone was around this level, so they're only making it what it was meant to be all along. I'm also implying by this that payouts will probably either be terrible or be significantly less after the first playthrough.

Let's see a show of hands - who's going to play these seriously with friends and crew and then troll them when they play with randoms?

If you're going to cry and whine about it, go sell your game and sit in your room!

After RR was modified and f*cked completely. Joining with randoms in missions, even high levels. It was clear they had no clue what they were doing. They had never played any other missions before.

The Only thing here is how much time and effort high ranks have put in, and new players are catered to, obviously for sales.
