Personally, I'm expecting several more delays, and I'd be surprised if heists get released in 2015. But I don't mind, since the game is still fun without heists, even for a guy like me, who has a very slow, unstable internet connection and no microphone.

I'm noticing that a lot of people here complain about GTA Online. Yet most of them paradoxically seem to have played for hundreds of hours, having ranked up to 300 or 500 or more. So the game can't be that bad after all, can it?

We had 1 year to learn about Rockstar.

 

You can try to deny it, hype like hell, then get major disappointment or expect the worst to come. It's your choice.

I was honestly confused at first. Went to Social Club before forums, noticed the Trailer, then noticed early 2015 and then had no idea why a trailer was being released so far in advance and still don't.

Don't worry. Because 'soon', 'in the coming weeks', 'in a few weeks or so', 'early of..', and 'coming on (insert season here)' means they don't even know when they're releasing.

With the current state of Online with the connection errors and all, you want R* to drop their biggest update right into that mess?? Let them "fix" things first, then they can consider giving a release date. I'd rather have the game be ironed out and heists released later than released now where lots of you guys constantly lose connection in freemode.

 

The game on ps4 needs like 10 patches at rockstars rate of repair to be even worth playing. How the hell am I going to escape during a heist with the turbo bug still ongoing lol.

I'm certainly not gonna get hyped for something and then wait 3 or 6 months for it to release, imagine the torture?. I learnt that lesson in waiting 2 years for gta v to launch. So right now I'm gonna pretend it doesn't exist until a release date is given, remember "early" usually means late with R*. So are you on the same boat with me or are you on a aircraft carrier?

 

Heists is going to be the very next update!

An open world digital playground. I would pay 5 times what I paid. I will play this game until GTA VI launches.

It's gamers like you that screwed it up for everybody else. Just because you think it's worth 5 times it's RRP (LOL btw) doesn't mean it IS worth anything at all!

 

Reason they take out part of the game to sell you at a later date (or even on Day 1 lol) is because there exists plenty of muppets who are willing to spend more cash for less content!

A trailer like this means that they're not simply guessing about the release window anymore. Also, If I were R* I wouldn't dare publish a release window I'm not 100% sure of, after the delays. This one has to be for real.

I have a sneaking suspicion many of those outfits and vehicles will be exclusive to the heists themselves. And some will be exclusive to next gen only I bet, even if it did show ps3/360 at the end of the trailer.

 

P.S I was hyped for 360 Dying Light until I read it was cancelled. Never been hyped for anything until I knew of that game. Never again.

Dying Light has only been cancelled on last gen consoles though. The devs had tested the game on PS3/360 and come to the conclusion that it'd be sh*t, basically. I think that's a good thing, would you rather they released a broken, unplayable mess?
