GTA Master 007

I'm certainly not gonna get hyped for something and then wait 3 or 6 months for it to release, imagine the torture?. I learnt that lesson in waiting 2 years for gta v to launch. So right now I'm gonna pretend it doesn't exist until a release date is given, remember "early" usually means late with R*. So are you on the same boat with me or are you on a aircraft carrier?

I'm on leather.

I do not hype things anymore after GTA 5's release. Because we all know heists are no longer worth hyping for after the coming in summer(?) thing they pulled.

release date usually means "day we tell you to calm you down until that day comes and we push it back further" with R*.. besides, nothing they could possibly release would get me hyped anyways. my hype and expectations for this game died long ago.

I bet on May 29th R* will announce that Heists are delayed.

There hasn't been a release date for 18 months, yet Heists have been the most Hyped GTA dlc all that time.

No Release date = mucho Hype!

The trailer's not even been out for 2 days and already people are complaining that there isn't a release date yet, they're probably still tweaking the minor stuff and patching any glitches that there might be.

They're not going to give a release date when they're still making small changes and making sure that it's glitch/bug free, the last thing they want is for douchebag players to ruin the experience for themselves and others by glitching and getting an unfair advantage over players who like the to play the game the way it was intended.

Edit: I know there have been major delays since the spring this year but we've seen the trailer and we know roughly whats going to be in it so there isn't really isn't anything for them to delay, that is unless some hacker with no life gets a hold of heist gameplay and posts glitches he/she finds on youtube.

Miss Malevolent

No definitive release date means, that "coming soon" means absolutely nothing.

At this point, I'd rather they work on the bugs in the single player and online. At least that's something concrete that I could see the immediate benefit of.

No .

"After many months of designing, testing, rewriting and re-testing, we settled on the four-player structure that you will experience in the game. It took a ton of work from our programmers and mission designers to make it work at the level we were happy with." , IGN .

Look at the new vehicles/weapons/clothing..etc coming with heists .

That's just because they were working from the start of GTA V release .

No release date is a better option for them so they will make sure everything is working without any problems like when they released GTA Online .

Kind of annoyed, they are obviously ready to be released. Im just glad they have got them right and they are not just glorified jobs. Im looking forward to them but since we dont actually know when they are coming its kind of hard to get hyped. It was the same with next gen, couldn't get hyped until we had an official release date

I'm excited, but not hyped.

But I'm also not as jaded as you people are. :beerhat:

With the current state of Online with the connection errors and all, you want R* to drop their biggest update right into that mess?? Let them "fix" things first, then they can consider giving a release date. I'd rather have the game be ironed out and heists released later than released now where lots of you guys constantly lose connection in freemode.

I can't answer the poll without a "non of the above" option.

I'm just gonna keep playing it like I was yesterday - absolutely no difference. Until it's actually released then nothing has changed, whether that be game content or my level of enthusiasm about upcoming game content (a la hype).

I'm just sitting here, laughing, knowing that they are all drawing conclusions based on a minute long trailer, they now know the release date, every piece of content, etc. I just want a release date so i can avoid GTA forums on the weeks after that because is going to get flooded with bitching and moaning threads saying that cockstars just wants kesh kerds and they are a bunch of cheaps f*ckers that ruined their enjoyment because they overhyped for months.

Rockstar beat the hype out of me with the constant delays. I'm at the point of "seeing it then believing it." But keep hope alive.

To many there is still hype even with no release date

For me, there is no hype and setting these "standards" on the content based on the leak and R* announcement. Doing so usually always cause major disappointments anyway as we can tell from previous content updates

I will play as I normally do and not over glorify something I have not seen yet

This times 10, I'm not playing story mode until the trophy bugs are fixed, and it's affecting about 90% of the PS4/XB1 player base.

Until we get one of those from R* themselves, I couldn't give two sh*ts or a f*ck about the "imminent" release of heists. Don't get me wrong, they look great, same for all the new things we're supposedly getting, but I just can't get excited even in the slightest given R*'s track record when it comes to things that they are supposedly releasing soon.

So yes, i'm in the same boat as you. Pass me a beer, will ya?

Until it's out, it's vaporware.

"I know you've been complaining, but you weren't ready."

Biggest load of El Torro Poo Poo coming out of the trailer. R* flips the bird at their gaming community...nice.

Zero communication with your gamers.

WE weren't ready, R*?

No explanation until 18 months AFTER making promises; only to get more promises. Great track record there. We believe in Santa Claus too.

WE weren't ready?

Someone please pass me a bucket before I hurl.

I think you guys are also forgetting about the PC community again... They don't get the game until mid-January, so releasing heists in 2015 makes even more sense.
