i guess i misread the question. i thought you wanted to know if there were cars on the street that were not on SSA.

 

I don't think the street versions of vehicles other than the new customized ones like the modded ratloader and sandking are any different than the ones you get on SSA. They just have some options installed.

 

The one exception might be colors. I think there is a custom blue on the Oscelot F620 that isn't available at LSC. I've never bought one from SSA so i don't know what color they deliver it in.

Not really, ordering them from the website just means that they will come insured with a tracker installed, not much else.

 

Both Cavalcades are on SSA and you can only install subs on the GTA 4 version (the one with the circular lights on the bottom of the front bumper) it doesn't matter if you steal it or buy it you can still add the speakers.

oh ok because i stole the new Cavalcade and there was no speaker options.

Also bought the Granger from the website because it comes with a bullbar you cant install at LSC

so just wondering if theres any cars on the website that come with mods you can not install at LSC

The only thing I don't quite understand is why there are/were 2 GTA IV Cavalcades on the website. I believe one was even pricier, and each had it's own description.
I'd check now but I don't have my Xbox with me since I'm in college.

I don't think so. There are two of em up there but one is newer and costs more. (And has no modifications available).

I'm not too sure about the Granger since I've never bought or owned one (I'm a Surano type of guy ) but with the Cavalcade the GTA IV version has all the customization while the GTA V version has barely anything.

 

I'm quite sure that when you order a Stallion there is a chance that it will come with a painted vinyl hardtop which cannot be added or removed at LSC (at LSC the Stallion has no roof options available). Thats all I know of but there is probably more, try the Wiki they normally point out the hard to find facts about each car.

Its usually colors. Same with cars from legendary motorsports. I stole a comet in SP before the current gen update and couldn't order the same red online.

The grangers on the street sometimes have bullbars; it's kind of random but hey if you can get one for sure on the site with the bullbar, then by all means don't waste your time searching for one on the street..

Some options on vehicles cannot be added at LSC and vehicles spawn with them randomly.

When buying online you have no control over them, but if you take one off the street, you can steal one with the mods you want.

Some examples are: Spoiler, body kit and sunroof on the Stratum, T-tops options for the Ruiner (not available on SouthernSanAn),

bed cover with "gangster cap" on the Bobcat XL, roof type on the Stallion (premium vehicle), painted/carbon roof on the Voltic,

bullbars for the clean Rebel and roofed/topless versions of cars back before they were separated.

 

Edit: The main difference would then be that when buying online, these options are randomized,

and of course; the colors you choose from online are not normally colors the vehicles spawn in on the streets.

Another difference I noticed with cars I buy, if i decide to sell them there's no wait period for selling. But if it's one i stole from the street and insured, it'll still give me a waiting time unlike the one bought through the site.

For instance Sadlers, Sandkings & Rebels may or may not have bull bars and/or in-bed roll bars, Surfers with and without surfboards, etc. In my experience, any vehicle available for purchase will always come in one predetermined configuration.

I can't confirm, but apparently the newly added Blista Compact will always have fog lights and a glass sunroof when purchased from SSSA. The one that I jacked off of the street doesn't have fog lights, but does have a glass sunroof. I'm not sure if a fog light variant spawns on the street or not, but there is on with a solid painted sunroof.

Interesting, as apparently, the Stallion will come with a random roof option when buying it from SSSA.

 

It's interesting to note that the only options that these vehicles spawn with randomly are non-LSC mods. Surfer's surfboard, Regina's roof racks, most of the bull bars and bed mods for pickup trucks are examples of this.

Most cars don't spawn with spoilers or hood options, as they did in GTA IV, and that's probably because they are mod options at LSC. Maybe there's a conflict between applicable mods and the system that give spawned vehicles random mods like bull bars. It's a shame, though. I miss the variety.
