Actual help or just the runaround from Rockstar Support?

My origional question that I sent to Rockstar: I think this is a Rockstar issue that an update could solve:

I have noticed recently that when driving or even sometimes walking I see a lot of noticeable texture pop ins. It is very noticeable on bridges and its railings, chain link fences,, shadows seem to fade in slowly, and patches of grass seem to pop in if you are walking in a very grassy field. what I am noticing is similar to the following 2 videos.

and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im_l-X64M5k. I don't think they were as noticeable before the most recent up date. Is the game supposed to be like this on PS4? Is there any way you or I could fix this? I have a brand new ps4

  Thank you for conatcting Rockstar Support.

  Below you will find some troubleshooting that should help resolve the issues you are experiencing. These troubleshooting steps come directly from Sony's website.

  Step 1: Booting Up in Safe Mode:

  The PS4 system has the ability to start up in Safe Mode. This allows access to several functions that can provide you with a way to clean up and potentially fix many issues you may be experiencing.

  1. Turn off the PlayStation 4 by pressing the power button on the front panel. The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off.
  2. Once the PlayStation 4 is off, press and hold the power button. Release it after you've heard two beeps: one when you initially press, and another 7 seconds later.
  3. Connect the DualShock 4 controller with the provided USB cable and press the PS button on the controller.

  When you have successfully booted the console in safe mode several options will be made available to you.

  Step 2: Update System Software:

  We recommend that you perform this process before running through any troubleshooting as it is possible that your console's software is not the most recent version and this can create issues running the game.

  Step 3: Restore Default Settings:

  It is possible that the changing of certain settings could lead to issues with sound and display. If you are experiencing any issues of that type this could resolve your issue.

  Step 4: Rebuild Database

  This process will essentially replace all current data with any available backup data. This can help fix any issues that were a result of any recent changes to the database.

  WARNING: The last two options of the Safe Mode list, Initialize PS4 and Reinstall System Software, will result with a complete wiping of any and/or all information on the PS4 and as such we recommend speaking with Sony before moving forward with these steps. Please keep in mind that we CANNOT restore any deleted data and advise you speak with them about how to back up save files on an external device (to prevent any loss of progress).

This is why current consoles are already outdated. If the problem is really that bad wait until the 27th of Jan and get it on PC.

The game wasn't built for PS4/Xbone. It was upgraded to them, and it was upgraded poorly. If it had been built for these consoles you wouldn't be seeing that, but I do have to say it's more pronounced in your videos than I've ever noticed (also on PS4).

 

Edit: Actually, the 2nd one shows shadow pop-in for the fence, which I can understand more. I can let that slide, personally.

Well OP, getting a direct answer from any support agent for the most part is blind luck. I have an issue with my CE content after I transferred like many others, it took 23 days for Tier 2 to actually give me an answer to the problem, which will eventually be fixed with a title update. I agree with Furry about it being upgraded sub par, but these things could also be fixed in future updates. There's allot of people complaining about the stationary trees, while the grass, bushes, etc are active.

I also think this could be fixed rather easily if Rockstar really wanted to. I am hoping it will be fixed on the 23rd update! Fingers crossed!
