New HUNTER/MIG Helicopter!

I'm so excited for the possibly named Hunter comeback. IMO I don't really like the Buzzard/Little Bird, and this looks so much better.

I'm pretty sure that two helicopters like this are coming, the Hunter which is based off an Apache and the Russian one you pictured.

That doesn't look like a Hunter.. because the Hunter has its tail rotor inside the tail (Simian trailer). This looks Russian.

 

The Russos are invading LS.

Yeah, the warstock website was pretty close to release so I guess they already had the model

Looks to be a Vietnam era Huey. What I like about this helicopter is that it would appear other players mount the side guns which is something I have always wanted in GTA.

It is Russian, but there is a US variant and it's called the Mi-24P Hind F.

The way the guns are on that helicopter and the low quality makes me think that they changed the hunter model from the old western style to the new eastern European style. Also why would they go to the effort of creating a whole new model for a helicopter rather than using what looks like was an already semi-completed one.

 

We'll find out once we get it. I'm so excited for this one anyway.

If the new helicopter is limited to a single rocket each shot like the Little Bird, it would be alright online. But the new Huey will be far too overpowered in my opinion, if 2 of your friends are armed at the mounted miniguns it would be way more powerful than any other vehicle.

 

The new 4x4 with the mounted DShKM I would also hope not to be online, simply because it would also be ridiculous unless it's severely reduced or has very limited ammo.

Yeah true. It will be interesting to see how they set all this up. There will be some serious firepower out there, so balancing will be key for online.

 

I just hope it all comes to story mode because when I do actually play V that's where I am (no gold for my 360)

Everything always come to story mode I'm pretty sure, and you could always save one of the new air vehicles in one of the airport hangars.

It's a MIG/MI-17, so yeah, I'm like 99% sure it will.

I can see them modifying the Mi-24's cockpit to resemble something a bit more western (either that or use the 28's cockpit design) to keep the idea that it's a us military (or merryweather) vehicle.

 

It doesnt really matter to me, I'm more of a Kamov type of guy.

The battle hind better be heavily armored and pack a punch like it does irl. Should be able to put up a good fight against the rhino because that tank is op in my opinion.

I think the Russian Attack Heli is named the Hind and The Huey is the Napalm.

 

I don't see them tossing the Hunter since its model was complete as seen on the TV shows and the website.

But would it really?

 

If these new DLC vehicles don't spawn in freeroam (like last gen) then we'll have Hydras from Pegasus. Little Bird or Hind, it won't matter against a jet - Lazer > Buzzard 99% of time, those rockets aren't good enough to dogfight with.

 

As for the MGs on vehicles: they why aren't miniguns and chopper guns already OP? They have the same issue that a technical or Huey would, that being how EASY of a TARGET you make. Heck, look at Battlefield or any other game with laser/no.bullet.drop.or.sway snipers. Anyone trying to use the mounted MG would be heavy sniper'd immediately.
