helpplease
holy sh*t was it hard. Damn! I forgot just how hard it was. So I was re playing San Andreas initially and had a rest half way through, cus San Andreas is a boring 'game'. Anyway whilst I was/am playing I was listing missions that I considered ridiculously hard. Wrong Side of the Tracks, SA Wu Zi Mu, SA High Stake, low Rider, SA Air Raid & Supply Lines, SA Flight School, SA Phnom Pehn '86, VC autocide, VC copland, VC Checkout at the Check In, VC Hog Tied, VC No Escape?, VC The Shootist, VC The Driver, VC Checkpoint Charlie, VC G-Spotlight, VC Mathas Mugshot, VC Spilling the Beans, VC As you can see VC out does San Andreas, which kind of shocked me. I was expecting the opposite, but in truth San Andreas is actually rather easy. I would say around 80% of the missions are insultingly easy, like drive to the country side and take a photo of someone then return to base. Or drive a long distance and snipe someone. The other 20% have some annoying mini games, such as dance beat and throwing crates, Vice City on the other hand is merciless. It would be great if they did a re make of it and added some much needed checkpoints. For example; the Shootist is annoying as f*ck cus if you fail you have to return to the Malibu Club and do it again. The Driver has to be the most unfair mission in GTA. It is almost literally a 1/40 raffle, of hoping that Hilary gets taken out by the police. This game holds up really well. Graphically it is still beautiful, because of the colours, the design of the city and the lighting. Too bad the next game Rockstar went with miserable San Andreas. Tyla
I remember as a kid I couldn't get past Dildo Dodo and couldn't advance through the story because I spent all my money on the Film Studio. I didn't beat that asset until years later and even then it was still a pain in the arse. Hit The Courier was as hard as Spilling the Beans I think. I know they were only old ladies with shotguns but still...
Johan
The only mission I ever had trouble with in Vice City was "Checkout at the Check In" and that was because it's literally random luck especially with the lack of cars spawning on the road if your vehicle gets destroyed. The rest were pretty easy to me at least, The Driver was tough my first time ever getting that far but ever since then I've realized you just have to keep driving and cutting corners, most of the time Hilary does mess up in that section after crossing the Hospital where the scripted cops come out of nowhere and crash into each other.. if not then right before the 2nd last checkpoint you can easily cut through where the police bribe is all the way to the finish line. The rest you just have to prep up basically with armor or the right weapon and it'll be a breeze the lack of cover is what makes a few of the shootouts tough so you'll have to go Tony Montana on them, literally. I do agree on your last sentence though, with or without mods.. especially on the PS2 version, the game still looks beautiful.

It was fun collecting all Unique Vehicles from Autocide, while completing the mission the mission too. Dope_0110
Really? The game was pretty easy for me when I was 13 and played it for the first time. The only mission that somewhat bothered me was G spot simply because I usually fall at least once and need to get back. But that doesn't stop me from completing it. The rest are easy. Sombra
I'm going through Vice City right now to collect all the unique vehicles and if anything I was shocked at how easy it feels. I think it's because we were most likely younger when we first played it, for example I think I was 10/11 when I first played III/VC and I remember Bomb Da Base and Phnom Penh 86 being really f*cking hard whereas now I can do them first try no problem. HeroBrineR007
Apparently? I found all missions listed above easy in Vice City when i first played it. (It was actually the first GTA game in my life) and i only hadtrouble with The Driver and Dildo Dodo, once. After that i finished VC 100% 34 times again and it's as easy as driving from Malibu Club to the parking lot next to it.

Lethal Vaccine
I never had a problem with VC. It's the easiest game in the series for me next to GTA V. The only annoying thing in Vice City for me is "PCJ Playground." You gotta be quick, perfect, and land and touch all the coronas. In my last 100% Save which I did this past June, that side mission took me like 10-12 tries of reloading. I hate the 3D Driving Physics. It's a joke, lol... I am starting Vice City tomorrow again and going for 100%. But this time, I am getting all 26 Special Vehicles in the entire game, unlike last time were I only had 15, which I missed 11. This time I will get them all. I just finished San Andreas yesterday to 100% with 45 Special Vehicles. Coming from that long and tedious game for Special Vehicle Collecting, VC will be a piece of cake. San Andreas was retardedly easy, which was one of the reasons it was so f*cking boring. As for the list; even AdamAK who is a speedrunner admitted the Driver was hard and almost messed it up on one of his live speed runs. You say Marthas Mugshot isnt hard but it is basically Cop Land. Infact Cop Land you can just use a helicopter to get back to HQ. In Marthas it disappears. High Stakes requires some fortune because you are dealing with numerous other drivers and traffic. Luna 51
@Militia I can agree with you on that one, "PCJ Playground" was a b*tch. I'm going to do same thing on SA, I missed the AP Tampa and police car, and I accidentally destroyed one of the BP and FP Tahoma, Got the AP Sabre and Cesar's bulletproof Savanna but this belongs in SA forums. I'll try on this on this game too but it ain't gonna be easy. EDIT: I find it irritating not saving for a while because you will have to save up for a safehouse so I can store the white Admiral. Lethal Vaccine
To get the EC White Admiral in VC, you just immediately drive to the Ambulance in Vice Point and do Paramedics Level 12. That's what I did. It makes you like 57,000 Dollars when you finish it. Tommy never gets tired once it's complete and can run forever, AND you get to buy a Safehouse and store the EC White Admiral. You can also do the Rampage near the beach. It involves using Molotovs. So once you pass the Rampage, hopefully a Fire Truck will come. Then you just steal it, do Fire Truck Level 12, and you will have a good amount of money from that, too, which can buy you a Safehouse. After Paramedics, you actually have the money to buy ALL Safehouses on the entire East Island. I go to West Island early with a special trick, and I buy all those Safehouses, too. I also do everything in the game before the first story mission. Makes life easier. I do this same thing in GTA III, as well. Check my Profile. I got all my Special Vehicle Collections listed there. Note, that I am working on finishing VC, then III, and lastly my SECOND LCS Save File. So those lists you see in my Profile are work-in-progress. But for SA through GTA V, I got Collections and those Games are done with. I got Collections in III and VC as well, but I am currently re-doing those Games for the best Collection possible.... Lethal Vaccine
The White Admiral is given to the player right at the start of a NEW GAME. It is sitting right next to you once the game starts and you take control of Tommy... The AP/EC Silver Admiral is from Diaz and is piss easy to get as well, from Guardian Angels. You can get it while PASSING the mission, too. You just do the mission like normal, then when it says Mission Passed! You immediately run straight out into the street and turn left. The AP/EC Silver Admiral will be sitting there for the taking. Diaz will be gone and the doors are unlocked. VC is so easy for Special Vehicles. SA is much harder and tedious methods... MrMateczko
VC is so easy for Special Vehicles. PCJ-600 from "Bar Brawl" is easy? Also, there's not that much BP vehicles in Vice City, which is disappointing for me. On topic, VC's missions are very easy. If you have any problems, watch YouTube videos on them. Lethal Vaccine
BP/EP/FP PCJ-600 from "Bar Brawl" and the EP/FP Hotring Racer from "Hotring" are the hardest Special Vehicles in VC. Now, compare these two Vehicles to the AP Greenwood and AP Fire Truck in SA. VC Special Vehicles are easy. Way easier than SA. fnxrak
Easy as pie! I still remember playing my 1st walkthrough on GTA 3 and having a lot of troubles completing it (specially that damn last mission, I still fail it from time to time LOLOL) then Vice City came out and my 1st walkthrough I made in like 5 or 6 days it was too damn easy, it has nice 80's feeling though which makes it fun to play. About the PCJ-600 it's not hard it's much more a question of a bit of skill pushing it and a lot of luck on how it explodes, but hell that is also the problem with the EP/FP hotring that for me is still the hardest vehicle (let's see how easy is with the new trick), but anyway luck is also present on a lot of special vehicles on all games so why should it be different on Vice City?! I thought GTA 3 was piss easy. The only mission I struggled on initially were Bomb Da Base 2 and that was because the PS2 analogue were too sensitive. The Exchange was hard but mainly because I kept shooting the helicopter not realizing there's a rocket launcher on the rooftop Also, yes you can use YouTube and I know there are dull ways to get through missions mainly by using a helicopter or by ignoring and just running past AI. This is dull, though. Edited January 2, 2015 by helpplease
