GTA Online Heist Reward Discussion

With the new heist trailer released, we were given the chance to see the plan and the reward from one said heist.

rPVemPQ.png

In this first image we can see the reward from one of the new missions/ heists which is $670,000. On the right you see that the party leader (player 1 has the crown next to their face) gets 55% of the cut. We also see their respected job in said heist. The other three members however, only receive 15% of the cut. This brings the question, does being the party leader give you more, or does the specific job affect the pay.

We do know that this is the ready screen from the far right on the white board, you can clearly see the "Ready" box in green with a check mark next to it.

Wk7EcCZ.png

In the next image we can clearly see the mission/ heist plan, (notice these first two images are not from the same job since the first two planning steps do not match).

Clearly this is very early and not everything is known in detail, but what do you guys think about the rewarding system? One player getting over half of the reward? If you have any other pictures from the trailer with something like this post them.

Edit: Thanks Poklane for the info!

Being a heist leader has advantages and disadvantages. On the upside, Lester contacts the leader directly when there’s news of a job and it’s up to the leader to invite players into the crew, assign positions, pick outfits and allocate each player’s cut. On the other hand, the heist leader will need to personally front the set-up costs in order to successfully pull off the heist.

Unlike the leader, other crew members get a cash payout for each prep mission, while the leader won’t receive their cash until the finale is complete.

The leader determines the cut everyone gets. And the leader should get a lot more as the others since he/she has to pay for all set-up costs and doesn't get any cash from the preparation missions. Source: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/12/16/grand-theft-auto-5-online-heists-finally-revealed

Officer Ronson

From Funmw2 we know that the max loot can be 1.5mil. Leader can choose how much to give us, the specific job also might affect how much the crew can get.

Other members get bonus rewards throughout the entire mission as well as the end heist money, whereas the leader only gets the last cut from the heist money. By the end of the mission all members will probably get a similar amount considering the leader has to pay for expenses.

Anyone with brains won't be planning heists with randoms.

I will, I don't have friends :(

Anyone with brains, I said. I take it you're capable of arranging a meetup on here?

The Lonesome Drifter

Personally I don't care. I'm planning on setting up a team of dedicated forum members like myself, and going for those "extra bonuses" you can get from things such as extra rewards from doing all heists with all party members in first person and such. Working with ransoms won't get me Sh!t :/

Just a heads up people. If you wanna work with me on XBONE when they are released. I'm best qualified as a pilot and driver. But I only take a minimum of 18% of the cut :)

There are 5 heists with 20 missions in total that would take around 20 hours in total. Even if you finish a heist in 2 hours the pay isn't that good, but I don't think many even care now because everyone must be at least a millionaire by now.

I'm really looking forward to that 5% of the cut I'm gonna get!

Seriously, play with people you know, guys. No doubt this will happen.

Revenge of the Donut

I'm guessing everyone will get a guaranteed minimum to prevent people from getting screwed over too severely.

Cash bonuses were also mentioned in the ign article:

"We have several rewards for players as well, such as for playing all five heists in order with the same set of players and another bonus for playing all of them in first-person [mode] on PS4, Xbox One, or PC, as well as Elite Bonus Challenges, which are essentially a big cash reward if you complete each part of a heist while meeting certain criteria, such as time to complete, damage taken, accuracy etc."

posting this a few places because I mean it--

it'd be helpful if there were a 'heist proficiency' stat attached to each player when inviting players to a heist- similar to choosing your crew in SP. I'd trust a lvl 120+, 86-percenter to complete a heist w/ me

86% being the player's success rate in previous heists.

One player getting the majority of the score makes sense. The crew leader makes the contact, fronts the money for set-up, then hires a team to work his score. I think the bonuses will keep things fun and interesting.

You already see people saying "Looking for like minded folk to do missions tactical style with", but the problem with this is that there is no in-game reward for doing this, so most players just go typical thoughtless GTA style.

The leader will have to know you, why would he invite some random stranger, not to mention you will be rated before hand to assess your skills. In which case if you spend your time trolling people you will have no skills...

Seeing as the leader puts up the money for the heist, I'm okay with them taking that kind of percentage cut. Money isn't too much of a concern to me, I'd just like to try all the heists out with a bunch of players I can trust. I'm pretty much a lone wolf since I've made the move the Xbox One, so if any people out there want a pretty good helicopter pilot, decent gunman and getaway driver, hit me up through here.

Better start hanging around the crew meet up topics. If the leader can decide how much you get, I can just see this not working at all.
