There's just one thing worrying me right now. If rockstar said heist will be the next update and heists are coming in 2015, does it mean we don't get a Christmas update with the snow etc.?

It looks like the Aircraft carrier is going to be located in the southeast corner of the map far out in the ocean according to the video trailer.

Looks at the player cuts....have to do 8-10 heists just to buy elite vehicles.....bwagahahaha I knew it. Rockstar wasnt going to pay us sh*t!

 

It could just be one of the first few heists that you are able to do, just like in single player the first one was just around the same amount for all characters. Obviously with the better ones you will unlock I'm sure they pay a lot more like the last heist did.

 

OT: Really great trailer to at least assure us that it was not about to just be scrapped all together and it looks like it finally is almost here. Honestly I feel that the extra time was taken so they could just make heists in general not feel like "glorified missions", which to me was well worth the wait and patience. Glad to see that we will get some much better online cut scenes too that hopefully won't be the same "No Patrica I'm playing golf, FORE!". Looks like Christmas update will be online next Tuesday, should be plenty to hold us over while they work out the last kinks. Be nice to have like snow for example all the way up to the release of heists as an option for people that want that.

 

Just really glad now that I saved my 2 million, going broke Day 1.

It's a modified Nimitz-class from what I can tell. CVN-69 is the Eisenhower in real life, so maybe that's where the design got its inspiration. In terms of size, this carrier looks like it lives up to the Nimitz size. I've been inside the Carl Vinson when my dad was still in the Navy, and I hope R* made the interior like a maze just like the real ship.

That's cool... but what I'm gathering from this is that it's going to be a mandatory car for the heist.

You won't be able to use whatever car you want because it's etched up there on the whiteboard.

 

Plus, I can't see them letting you use that car in freemode or other missions, so what other use for it would there be besides forcing you to use it for the heist?

 

This is great if you like tuners or whatever, but it's pretty much the antithesis of the kind of cars I like, personally.
