Xbox One GTA V Official Roleplay Lobby (13 Years+ And At Least Some RP

First off this is my first post on the forums so hello everybody I hope to do things like this more often

Now onto the main event...

 

 

Intro

So hello my name is Jordan I've been playing GTA V since launch on last gen I now play it a decent amount on xbox one but sadly I've noticed their aren't many rp'ers on next gen So this is a call to all the roleplayers out there. Add me on Xbox Live and ask me or reply to the thread with any questions. Most info will be in the sections below.

 

Story

So it fits in with all the Grand Theft Auto V lore with Micheal and stuff. Basically you play your character who lives in LS. You must create a backstory for your character but more about that will be in the rules section. You can't put your character as a "star" like Micheals long lost brother or anything similar to that. You can however say you've met him and you used to do some jobs with him but nothing over the top. Make your lore fit with the official game lore. The premise of this is your just a person that needs money to buy a home, food etc for a family if other rp'ers are willing to be your family IC and you want nice cars so you need to work harder for that but maybe your girlfriend/boyfriend ain't okay with you being a criminal similar to Tanisha with Franklin in story mode so she breaks up with you IC or something like that. But you need to earn IC money(GTA MONEY ISNT REPRESENTATIVE OF IC RICHES BECAUSE THEIR ARE FEW POSSIBILITIES TO EARN $ IN FREEMODE)via any means necesarry or maybe your just a criminal because you wan't to be IDK its all up to you.

 

Roleplay Terms

IC: In Character

OOC: Out of Character

KOS: Kill on sight

IG: In game

AFK: Away from kontroller

 

Rules and Guidelines

Now onto the bad part but the part that forms most of the game. Rules.

 

Staying IC: You have to STAY IC AT ALL TIMES. IF YOU NEED AND I MEAN NEED TO GO OOC YOU MUST MAKE AN IC REASON TO. If someone your playing with hops out randomly think of an IC reason why he would have.

 

Character Backstory: You must create a believable backstory for your character who has to have a first name and a last name. An example is you came here from Liberty City to escape a mob or something like that. I prefer for it to be longer than that but do your best.

 

Going OOC: During a heist or criminal job you have to run away from the event before you can go AFK. If your just hanging out with friends say you need a nap or you need to go to the bathroom and be mature about it meaning no saying "Oh guys i have to guy fap at this garbage can back here" XD

 

NO KOS: KOS Means kill on sight. You're not allowed to kill ANY PLAYERS ON SIGHT AT ALL. You need to have adequate IC reason to murder another player.

 

New Life Rule: When you die you lose memories surrounding the event that led to your death - that means running back to your body after dying is forbidden. However, you keep the knowledge about your group, friends, enemies and other people that you’ve met before that event. If you die, you are not allowed to return to the area where you died before an hour has passed since your death.

Weapon Equipping: You are allowed to equip any small weapon (micro smg normal smg pistols etc.) at any time. You are also allowed to bring one large weapon(any rifles a GL etc.) everywhere. This is to increase realism as in real life you can't carry around every weapon you can IG. but if your near a bush, garbage can or your personal vehicle you can equip any weapon at all because you put your weapons in the back of your car.

 

Cheating: We have a zero tolerance policy for cheating, exploiting or any attempt thereof. Anyone caught using third-party modifications that give you an advantage over other players will be permanently banned without a possibility to appeal the punishment.

 

Combat Logging: If a group of gangsters come up to you and are about to mug you don't enable passive mode or leave. You have to live with it. Give them the money or fight back but if you fight back you may end up with a huge hospital bill.

My name is Nicholas Rage, I used to work for Merryweather as a co worker who was soon to be promoted. They said they would appreciate it if I could help with some cargo in LS what already sounds very strange. The only thing they said to me was to protect it, no matter what it was, and if we are not allowed to know what is is, everybody else will know that it probably is high valued. Thats what I said, but no one was listening and then it happened. After the incident everything went to sh*t... Since I wasnt allowed to talk about what happened they took everything I earned in the last ten years but I managed to keep my head down and they lost track of me. I had to do some things to keep my head above the water. I robbed stores, gas stations, stole Cars and sold them to at least afford a decent apartment and a car. I guess I'm still addicted to crime but I try to be careful and keep a low profile so the police keeps distance but even if they trace me, I got some contacts. Since that isnt enough to get me back to my old life, I have plans for some big Heists in the near future and currently I'm trying to get a crew together that is worth every percent of the cut they will get. I have also met this strange guy who said he would help me planning them, his name is Jeff. How small this city can be, right ? - Maybe we'll meet in Los Santos anytime soon but for now I need to get off the radar. See you !

My character's name is Jonathan Howlet. He used to be part of the marine core before capping out at major. During this time he was apart of two operations that were kept off the books by the the U.S. Government that had morally questioning goals. He reported these to officials that opposed the ops and was heralded as a hero. He was given ten million dollars as compensation for reporting the ops and a home of his choosing. However Johnathan wasn't close to done he decided that he could do more became something like a guardian angel for the city of los santos.
