So I made a Rockstar Ticket (Roof top lights)

I made a Rockstar ticket about how some vehicles roof top lights not working and listed some vehicles. They asked me to make a video of all the vehicles with them not working and I plan on at least submitting one video of a vehicle or two of them not working. (Not much into uploading and stuff, but these consoles allow me to be a little more)

I was wondering if anyone wants to help me or already has a video on youtube or something I can provide them with?

 

I think they might even fix the bumper headlight add-ons that don't work also if we showed them with it.

I was just going to do that. I cant believe that the patriot,dubsta,rebel and sadler that have roof lights doesnt turn on. And some other cars that have fog lights that dont turn on too.

Apparently they deleted it. Meaning they don't care, they do that sh*t to other people too. Should make another one and see if it sticks?

Just to let you OP, I have a fairly serious issue going on with my CE content like many others, and it took 23 days to get a response from Tier 2. So you'll be in for a wait on your ticket.

Pretty sure rockstar is aware of which vehicles have rack lights that don't work.

 

I think you misinterpreted their misinterpretation of your problem. I think they thought a vehicle of yours that should have working lights didn't.

They should also have all fog lights work like the Gauntlet has if they're checking out roof lights! I've wanted roof lights to work on the Rebel and Dubsta 6x6, just to name a few.

Hmm, the link still works for me. I don't think they deleted it. Anyway I recorded like 30 second clips of me flipping the lights on and off to show them they don't work with: Patriot, Dubsta 6x6, and Dubsta.

 

I checked the rusty rebel, and it doesn't have functioning lights, and don't have time to look for a clean one with lights. I also didn't submit the Sadler. Didn't find one, and don't want to buy one right now because I lack garage space.

 

What other cars are affected with roof top lights not working or fog lights? I can think maybe the Karin Beejay. Not going to look for it right now though.

They didn't understand your problem. The roof lights is not a glitch, it's a design choice, and it has been like that for over a year, from day one.

 

No need to submit a ticket, as there us nothin wrong.

I did the same ticket and got the same stupid reply.

 

Dominator fog lights, and grill lights don't work.

Sandking fog, bullbar, and roof lights don't work

Merryweather Mesa bullbar lights don't work

Sadler fog lights

Granger fog lights

F620 fog lights

And just about every car in the game has a set of tail lights that don't work.

 

Why put all these lights on the cars and not make them work? ESPECIALLY the lights that come with mods that we have to pay for! Extremely annoying.

Oh, and don't bother sending the video. After you send it, they'll just reply with instructions on resetting your ps4 and game data, as if it's the console's fault. Lol. That's when I got rude with them. Doesn't matter, judging from the automated responses, I was only talking to a computer anyway. I'm sure some of the words I used did not compute.

Submitting tickets is for addressing bugs, where features don't work like they are supposed to (game code). Not for complaining about features that don't exist, like non working lights on cars. Yes it bothers me that lights on my Dubsta 6x6 don't work, and I hope R* adds working lights in the future. But I wouldn't submit a ticket complaining about it, and truth be told there is a long list of features I would rather see added before they bother with lights on my car... a working casino, animals in online, scuba gear, etc.

Submitting tickets, complaining on the support community chat, are about the only way to get our voices heard, even though it's frowned on by the R* Gestapo. Do you really think anybody is reading our emails to the "developers"? Lol, yeah right. The lights are a feature. They're on the vehicles. You even have to pay for some of them. For them not to work is just stupid, and I'll voice it any and everywhere I can in hopes of somebody at R* maybe seeing it, and by some miracle actually giving a sh*te.

Or maybe try wording the ticket in a more polite and understandable way. Seriously, if I was receiving some of the poorly written drivel that gets posted on their support site, I'd (apart from killing myself with laughter) be telling the send to dry their eyes and try again.

 

From experience, try writing tickets properly and in a mature way and you're more likely to get a better response.

Not only those lights, but can you imagine what a beast the Sandking would look like with working fog lights, bullbar lights, and roof clearance lights? Or the dominator with working fog lights and grill lights? You're right, it's a shame. Overall the cars in this game are ridiculous looking and boring. All lights working would add so much appeal.

Btw there is a sign of hope. The bullbar lights on Trevor's Bodhi never worked at all before. Now they're coming on. They don't put out any light, but when you look at them from the front they're on. So maybe they're working on the lights.

not sure if this has been said but to the op my solution is to always ride with my lights turned off also known as ghost riding. It looks cooler than 50 lights and you can do it on any gen. Even if this was fixed I would still ghost ride.. but yah it sucks obi
