How much do you think will be enough for the Update next week?

At least PS3 can be used to test things in Online (as performance in SP is often a poor indicator of that Online).

Supposedly there is a new apt, 3 new cars (don't forget the cost of upgrades), masks and clothes and I haven't heard any word about a new Pegasus vehicle but who knows? I'd want more than 3 million if I were you. I'd guess 5 to 7 million should cover it.

First world problems here: I've got no garage space and I swear, I'm not going to buy another Pegasus vehicle unless it's absolute deal breaker (Hunter or some APV), because I'm damn tired of scrolling that list when I need my Buzzard. Right now I would really appreciate and option to remove Pegasus vehicles from my list and thinking about asking R* to do that, but I'm kind of sure they are going to screw this up, leaving me with some boat and that crop-duster.

If it's a good car, I'm going to sell something (probably, a Zentorno, because I can't stand this ugly piece of crap).

 

On cash side... I've got no idea. I just can advise kids not to rush buying apartments and other crap, because it's limited. It is crap and there is no resale value. If you're playing legit, you are literally wasting your time and effort. Only purchase things you like and you've got the idea how to use.

If there's a good Pegasus vehicle, maybe that's another 1.25-1.5m, but it would have to be something considerable for me to even consider it (I own most of the rest from the billionaire days and rarely use any of it aside from the buzzard and dump truck and tank.)

I've never spent more than about 1 million for DLC. I think you'll be fine with 3.1 million, unless it's lots of stuff and you're one of those players that must own everything. But better start to gather more money to have enough for the updates that come after.

Don't go for them. A lot of people will do the same and you're going to end up hating your new place because of campers, sticky-bombers, general retards and, maybe, a glitched garage door when some fashionable gentlemen yolo-swagger will use the door at the same time with you. Believe me, I used to own Eclipse towers and the garage was the main and absolute reason I moved.

That's it. Don't bother with robbing stores and don't calculate armored trucks in since they barely spawn. I don't spend much on ammo since I'm passive most of the time. When I'm not, I try to not use explosives, because they are expensive. I stopped destroying personal vehicles and even pretty much stopped committing suicide, because R* thinks it's cool to steal $500 from me each time I die. It's just 500, but it pisses me off. Die 20 times a day and you lose $10k. Once I had 36 million, now it's only 7.2 million left. The less money I have, the more stingy I become.

Play invite only, do contact missions, do not go back from voting screen and do anything from parachuting to racing. Solo, if nobody is around. Sell modded (current gen) or gang (both old and current) vehicles at the start and at the end of your session. Do not buy crap, by the way.

You make good points, thanks. I wouldn't go for the new apartment if it was in Eclipse. I already own RM and Weazel Plaza, walk out from one garage over to the other. Would have to be worthwhile for me to change, plus I like having apartments towards the bottom floor, easy to see who's outside.

Doesn't matter if all my money is banked, I lose 500 each time I die. No matter if it's suicide or not. Only a few days ago I thought I'm safe when my money is banked, but I wanted to know for sure and watched my bank money. Yeah, 500 less after each death.
