I feel like it takes a lot of on call missions (quick jobs) to level up now, i just have a few questions for you guys,

  1. what are some good missions to level up on at my level (40)?
  2. it seems to me that it is taking forever to level up strength, i have been playing golf for the past 2 hours and i am still at 1 bar, read a few posts here and that was one way to boost it up quickly. Not sure if they patched it or what, but it is a pain.
  3. My health is 40/100, is there a way to level that up as well or does it come when you level?

also my stealth was at ninja but all of a sudden it is down to clumsy after one mission of having to blow up trucks, would that happen?

And jeez, i saw a guy in lobby lastnight that was lvl 310.. is that legit?

thanks for all the help!

Toasted-Cheese

The best way the level up would be to message a higher level player an ask them to host some high level missions for you which will give you good rp , not to sure about your strength try punching npcs an having fist fights or hitting vehicles with bats etc , yes your health increases as you tank up , and yes this game has been out for over a year , level 310 would not even be considered high , i myself am level 410 , its possible to be around 700 legit i reckon

1. Don't bother with speciffic missions. If you can get involved with a group of players doing multiple missions togetehr by picking a new one each time at the next job screen, that will get you quick RP. If you play with crew/freinds you get increased RP % bonuses too, and you also get an RP% bonus for harder difficulties and playing on free-aim rather than auto aim. Just avoid the mission "GTA:Today". I only play that with people I know don't suck.

2. I had the same problem. I used to just start a Gerald mission (most of them have cops turned off) and punch hundreds and hundreds of pedestrians. Plus they drop about $20 each.

3. Yeah, it comes with level.

The stealth thing sounds like an unfortunate bug. Same thing happened to my strength one time.

Yeah, level 200-400 is pretty standard these days. I'd only be suspicious if I saw someone level 1000+ (if they were terrible).

I can give you some tips to leveling up (level 260+ here)

Ask around for invites to certain missions, but don't do the same mission over and over. If you have any friends that are a higher rank, consider asking them to invite you to either Rooftop Rumble, The Los Santos Connection, or even Quarry Quarry. If you die, but there's a person(s) still alive, if they complete the mission you'll still get paid.

Side note: If you're on Xbox One I can easily help you rank up. Just private message me.

Survivals are a good place to start as well. Get some good people on your team, and if you survive all ten rounds, you'll get an achievement, and $20,000.

While playing Rooftop Rumble over and over might seem feasible, it can get boring if done repeatedly. I can give you some tips on grinding for long periods of time:

Listen to music, a podcast, or even the radio (yes, the radio.) this will pass the time and make your grind session less boring.

Also, join random missions as well. Most of the time (in my experience) you'll get put in a Rooftop Rumble game. If you're lucky, there will probably be someone out there willing to give a beginner a helping hand.

Edit: P.S. If you ever get any invites that says "Lester: KILL TARGET" Go for it. You'll usually get around $4000 to $10,000 dollars if done successfully.

Play some survivals, if you get with a good set of players, it's easy to pass through wave 10 netting you about 3500 rp and 30 grand. Also good for honing in some skills in using cover and tricking the remote to score headshots.

Watch out for invites to last team standing maps , some fun ones about and if you play 7 rounds can pay up to 25,999 rp and 65.000 cash

Missions are not the best way to get your health/strength up. You need to do fight club deathmatches, no weapons, fists only. That's how I did it and it works fast.

Wait till you see how long it takes at level 200+ to level up, about 3x the RP it takes you now per level....

You'll be able to solo missions quick when you hit level 43 and can buy a Buzzard!

Captain Revenge

Strength can be brought up by playing Golf or running up steep inclines, like mountains, or swimming for distance.

Your health level can be brought up by snacks u buy at the stores, or Sprunk vending machines. AND when u level up

Golf is also a great source of RP, 2500 for 8 under par.

Solo racing for over 4 minutes a race for maximum RP.

Invest in a Buzzard, and a Rhino tank. Both usefull in missions, u can give the cops a major beatdown with a $200 rental fee tank. Buzzard rockets can be guided and unguided, and they lock on to people as well as vehicles in missions.

Been so long since i was level 40, sell Ballas for $9000 every realtime hour, find out where there are several Gang Attacks and farm them for cash, guns, ammo and RP by making your tri daily rounds to each of them.

Play in Friend or Crew only sessions to minimize the douche bag factor.

I leveled up my strength by accident. Any time I'd go on call for a mission, I'd just go on a pedestrian punching spree until the mission started. At some point I see my strength was leveled up to max.

My stealth is also just about maxed, but I honestly have no idea how that happened as I almost never sneak.

It doesn't take long to open all weapons. My new PS4 account took less than two weeks to pass level 120, and I was alone most of the time. I played random missions for the most part. All my stats were filled in that time as well.

honestly ive been doing contact missions and racing for a little over 2 months now and im already level 182. like said above do solo races for at least 4 mins to get 5000 bucks and 3000rp every 5 mins and if you have friends, do contact missions with them and it gives you more money. the more players the better the money and just keep at it. also you can sell a car every 48 mins real time. look up the prices online. im always finding ballers for 9000 and oracles for 8000. doesn't give any rp but quick easy money. your max health goes up as you level up. level 60- 60%. level 80-80%. and as far as strength go to the beach during any Gerald mission and beat the crap out of NPC's. only took me about an hour to reach 100% strength. good luck

Can you explain what you meant by "tricking the remote to score headshots"?

When playing in aim assist, you lock on to a player and squeeze the trigger and your weapon begins to fire, but if you notice it always aims center mass, (the chest), in most cases. With a little practice you can fire short bursts and flick the thumbstick up to cause headshots, neutralizing your target in one or two shots. This is the deciding factor in skilled players and noobs. I see many people complain about how quickly they die and say they fired a whole clip into someone and they think it's hacks or lag. While that is certainly possible, it is more likely that your opponent is scoring headshots while you are hitting armor or missing completely with most of your rounds.

1. There is a list on this forum somewhere that lists the missions highest to lowest in RP and $$ payouts. But as someone above said, just play randomn missions with friends/crew.

2. For Strength play golf hole 6 and only hole 6. It is the shortest and easiest and you get the same strength as if you play the whole nine.

3. That comes with levelling up.

4. Don't know but to regain it, Go to invite only and go somewhere where traffic can't kill you, like the desert or a parking garage - then crouch and put an elastic around the right analog stick so your person just walks around in a stealth crouch. Go make a sandwich, Takes about half an hour to fill the meter as I recall.

5. 310 is very much in the "legit" window.

Shooting Stats - Do any survival with aim assist, the more you shoot and kill, the quicker it goes up.

Stealth - Perform stealth kills on NPC's - Use a supressor on your guns "Use on survivals"

Strength - Arm wrestling - Beating up NPC's, best way is in a mission where the cops are disabled. Much quicker than golf.

Ranking Up - 4 Minute Solo Races - Grind Missions, Try Rockford Roll from simeon, No ammo needed. Play Free Aim " More RP"

Money - Simeon missions "little to no ammo needed" - Missions with a buzzard - The Los Santos Connection "Martin Mission" when it is unlocked "20k payout and 8k in crates"

Health is linked to your rank.

1): Play some survivals. Especially Processed. After you finish that out start up Blow up I / II, then start picking up any mission pops out. Keep doing this as much as you can. If you liked the Processed survival then you can create your own playlist with Processed as much as you want.

2): Start any Gerald mission and punch the f*ck outta people. Preferably go to the strip club, block the two door entrances, get inside and punch peeps as much as you want.

3): Just like what you said, its based on level.

Hope I helped.
