I really try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I will usually come at you unarmed unless I see you have a weapon out. If you approach me with your weapon out, get ready to die. Generally in cars, honking means friendly but some people take that as a weakness and exploit it for a free kill. I generally avoid people if I'm in a car. If im driving and someone starts following me, I take a lot of turns and if they keep up, I'll pull off into an alleyway, get out, and wait to see what they do. Usually ends with them driving off, blowing up my pv and driving away, or me completely obliterating them and their car. Then I drive off into the sunset

 

 

Just because someone has their weapon out, doesnt mean they are trying to kill you, especially if they are running toward you. I always have a weapon on me, ALWAYS. Most of the time I wont shoot someone, if they arent bothering me, HOWEVER, there are times where I just dont care and will start a fight. Why? because its GTA, that the whole point, death and destruction. Anyone who gets mad because someone kills them shouldnt play this game. Now with that being said, MODDER's are a completely different story. Some of the MODS i have see are hilarious and could care less about, like UFOs' flying cars, running fast, even some of the weapon MODs. I dont have this capability anyway, but when a MODDer goes around nonstop grieving everyone, its an issue.

I'm usually more a peaceful player than anyone else. I don't shoot first, but instead give a friendly salute.

 

Of course if they start shooting me, I won't be afraid to whip out my minigun and declare war in the lobby.

I shoot first unless I believe they simply traveling to some destination. Generally a sticky bomb most effective. If blips closing in when I am outside Del Perro apartment or one of my garages will set motion mines /sticky bombs, hide behind cover, and be ready w shotgun or RPG.

 

Griefers have attacked me in pairs and if I have bounty simply go inside garage or apartment / switch to another session. Goal is to survive / win money not engage.

I usually won't shoot first either, but as others have said if you are coming at me, I assume it's to fight. This is especially true if I'm in an area where there are stairs and a player is in a car trying to come up them where I am at. Or if I am in an isolated area and I see a dot coming at me fast. Then it's dying time. Sometimes it's good to go into passive while in an ammunation becuase some players have found ways to open the doors and shoot you inside.

I shoot first at anyone i haven't met. Not used to friendly players. If you announce you are friendly or we did a job together i won't shoot you

There are a couple exceptions though. If I hear the following over the microphone, I will hunt you down.

 

1. The word "nigga." That may or may not be censored, but if it is, its the word that some black people say every 5 seconds but then riot when a white person says it. The word just annoys me. In my eyes, anyone who utters it even once (though most of the time, it's inserted after every 3 words or so) deserves to be killed until they leave the lobby.

 

2. Squeaky voices. You're too young to be playing this game, and your parents should be ashamed of themselves. If your age is on the clock, I'm going to kill you repeatedly. If someone sounds young but is acting in a mature manner, I'll leave them be.

 

3. Kids talking about smoking weed. You're not cool, and I'm just tired of hearing it. Most likely you haven't even seen the real thing before, much less smoked it. Prepare to be m3rk3d.

 

4. Arrogant people. This goes for any age group. If you're bragging about how much money you have, your level, etc, I'll come after you. Your in game possessions do not make you better than anyone else.

 

 

That being said, no one (NO ONE) is safe from being rammed by my insurgent. I won't shoot at you, but you can bet I'm going to plow into you at full speed and send your car flying through the air.

I taught a low level punk a nice lesson yesterday. Dude rolls up to me with his awesome level 7 gear and pops off. After he drills me for no reason, I re-spawn and take him out and then leave a nice little present on his Bati and then pull around the corner. As he comes wizzing up to shoot me again, BOOM! Lesson over punk, hahaha!

 

Anyway, I'm finding a lot more low level guys attacking me for no reason since making the switch to new gen. I wonder is my dot red or something? I got into a couple of cop shootouts with my crew-mates, so I dunno.

If I´m in public session I turn passive mode on and get somewhere where I can´t get run over when I see someone getting close to me.If they just pass by,I turn it back off and continue what I was doing,if they are also peaceful I take a selfie with them,salute them and we both go our ways,and if they are aggressive I watch them unsuccessfully try to kill me and when they almost give up or try something that could work I turn the passive mode off to fight them.

I never shoot 1st because some of the best and funniest things i've ever seen have happened due to not shooting on sight.

 

For me, its cowardly to shoot people on sight without a reason.

 

 

That being said.. if i get shot ASAP by a player. Its game on. Il spend the next hour hunting them down or chasing them out of town.

I generally try to avoid everyone when in freemode. I don't go after bounties and if just having completed a job with players and we all vote to go back to freemode I'll drive away fast and not initiate violence with anyone. If someone comes after me though then I will defend myself as there is no need to come close to anyone really as it is quite easy to avoid people as I do so if someone approaches me I'll usually try and kill them. People more often than not leave me alone in freemode but I do seem to get quite a few people driving up to me in their cars and in those instances I'll shoot them through the windscreen with the assault shotgun. After that though I'll just go on my way and won't do anything further to them unless they continue to hunt me. I can recall a handful of instances where I've killed a few players for no reason, maybe I see someone using their phone for example and that would mean an easy kill. It is very rare for me to do that though as I think I've only done that kind of thing about three times in about fifteen months.

I've learned the hard way that when someone pulls up on me they aren't looking to say hello. If I leave my apartment on foot, or need to exit my car for some reason I always pull out a weapon. If you ride passed me without stopping, its all good. If you stop then I will shoot. If that makes me the aggressor then so be it.

In the course of playing the game I've had to ride passed other players, I don't stop, I don't slow down. I keep to my destination. If I'm going say, to an Ammunation and someone else is there when I get close enough to tell I go to another one.

If we're going to have a big kill for all lets do it in a death match where we'll at least make some money and gain exp.

I probably play this game way more then you.. So i`ve been sucker shotted probably alot more then you.

 

That being said.. Good, let them sucker me. Because after i re-spawn il be aggressor. And i don`t STOP till i get enough. I pretty much love it when someone shoots on sight because I love revenge killing assholes.

 

 

But, the reality is you are just missing out on some wild, funny.. and friendly players if you blast them ASAP. Just sayin`.. Even if they do shoot you its not gonna kill you in real life. Its ok..lol

 

I guess what im saying is.. Don`t let assholes turn you into one.

If someone starts heading down my path at speed I hold the weapon wheel over auto-shotgun and wait to see what they do. I never shoot first unless they are attempting to park on me.
