GTA19somethin
I know I've said in my last topic that there needs to be just one more GTA in the 90s. Well I'ma be more specific with this topic. This GTA game would be called "Grand Theft Auto: East & West". The game would be set in the year 1995. It's about a young thug named Calvin nicknamed C-Squared from the urban blight of Pineland, San Andreas (based on Oakland, California) who's a soldier in his gang the Groundbreakers, a gang lead by C-Squared's brother who is strongly against gangbanging and have their own gritty gangster style. The gang has been drug dealing and the story starts off with one of the members Snapp (also a close friend of C-Squared's) who is shot and killed by a drug dealer over a blown drug deal. So following Snapp's memorial, the gang realizes what drug dealing has caused them and decides to lay off for good. C-Squared now has to prove to the Groundbreakers that he has what it takes to take the place of his deceased friend. But as the Groundbreakers prepare themselves, they are ambushed by an unknown gang at their city who is later revealed to be the Dukes African-American gang the Steamers, lead by Snake, who had wanted to wipe out every gang in San Andreas to let the East coast gangs shine, and that's how the rivalry against the East and West coast gang began. The game would also have the player travel to three different states: his home state, Liberty City, and Alderney. I would explain more about the game, but I know most of you viewers wouldn't read so much. So I'm just asking what improvements must I make to make this whole concept work in GTA? Any suggestions? (P.S. Don't reply to me in a rude manner either.) Edited December 15, 2014 by GTA19somethin imdonenow
hot-temper27
I like the concept of this game. Got any characters in mind?
MrDeSanta
I`m probably the minority but i would want the next GTA to have a place in snowy parts of USA. Like Ludendorff at Cristhmas for example. We had plenty of palm trees and sun in VC/VC/SA/V so it would be time for some icy cold experience. Driving a huge 4x4 with the chains on it`s tires would be awesome. Having police chases in some snowy roads would be a blast.
watersgta3
This actually is a great idea. One thing you gotta think about is that the game should be a balance of realism and action. If the game is too realistic, it wouldn't be very exciting. At the same time, if it was too unrealistic, the storyline would be silly. Equilibrium is the key here. Also, since this game is gonna be set in the mid 90s, make sure the whole atmosphere is grimey so it could adhere to the urban 90s street atmosphere. I would also change the title of the game. Overall, great idea. I'd love to play that game if it was created and released.
90sGTA
A game set in the gritty grimey 90s atmosphere with east-west coast game would be sick. All you have to do is name the characters and make sure the storyline isn't too short or long, because a story too short tends to become rushed and unexciting, and a story too long (like San Andreas) digresses from the main point of the story and just meanders to irrelevant topics.
