Just thought to share this LS connection mission trick

I bet some ppl already know this but here it is:

Found this out when playing with a friend last week, first when you get to airport, go to end of the runway to the leftside. You'll see a small plane, put a sticky bomb on it.

"not sure if it fails the mission if you set off bomb early, so haven't tried that theory yet. It wouldn't hurt to try it to see what happens. if you try it out plz let me know so we can confirm the results on here*

 

Anywho, if you don't want to test out the theory don't set off the bomb until after you kill those guys around the hanger and get the coke. As the person takes off in his little plane, boom blown to smithereens and mission complete lol.

You can blow it up early no problems, Usually when playing with friends or (2 people min) Have one behind his car sniping guys at hanger and one to race out and blow up plane, race back to assist guy sniping. and fly out of there with a buzzard thats sitting there.

 

Not really a "Trick" but good find lol

Old find I would say.

 

You can detonate whenever, back in the day you could even go to the hangar and take the money before enemies spawned.

You could use the Buzzard. On the helipad section or the airport where helicopter spawns, an enemy Buzzard will be there and later it will go after you. You can destroy it early as well.

Take out the plane as soon as you get to the airport...if you use stickies, you may die and have to chase it.

I always put 2 missiles into it as I fly over the airport fence.

This is why when your a low level playing a mission the first couple of times you should hang back and just try not to die.

 

Observe the tactics that are repeated every time, then step into one of those roles.

 

These missions have been completed millions of times and there really is a "right way" for all them.

Uggg, No! Use a buzzard for the entire mission, blow the jet up as soon as you arrive at the airport, before you deal with the hanger. Don't over complicate the mission. Set to hard, this mission takes no more than 10 minutes SOLO!

If soloing, once I get to the airport, I do it this way (for entertainment purposes only).

 

Put a sticky on the jet on runway

Go grab the free buzzard on the helipad

Destroy everything in the hangar except the coke, of course.

Jump out of the buzzard and plant a sticky on that. If you don't, it will re-animate and kill your ass. You can just destroy it outright as well. If you destroy it, you can have the pleasure of detonating the sticky on the jet as it flys overhead thereby adding to the entertainment value.

Kill the two douchenozzles guarding the coke and then grab the coke.

Detonate the two stickies, blowing up the heli and the jet (or just the jet if you already destroyed the heli).

 

Most of the time I just use my buzzard for the entire thing and kill anything that moves. If I'm bored though.....

@hot - this is what I like to do on missions not rush it and smoke everyone out with a buzzard. I use the sniping theory before reaching to hanger at airport to kill all the gunmen hanging around the area. Then get the coke and as you detonate the sticky, watch the plane blow up into smithereens as the NPC acts like there about to get away lol.

After the beginning, I snipe the rest of the way, taking out the plane with the free buzzard then sniping all the guys at the hangar starting with the two guarding the package. I land the buzzard and plant a stickie on it then fly a different buzzard in and collect the cash and stash and fly out. I get something like 20k and 4500 rp

Usually my strategy is:

2. Clear out enemies before other players will arrive to hack the PC;
3. Provide cover and eliminate reinforcements. Here is a tricky part: with Buzzard the best position to do this is to be at the top of the mountain nearby: good angle, good view, good distance;
4. At the airport the best action plan is here: start from the plane, blow it up without any hesitation, at the helipad blow up that Buzzard (if yours is damaged, just swap them), go to hangar and explode both Buzzaards. Take position in front of hangar with good altitude, clear out hangar. DO NOT SHOOT AT THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER, YOU WILL DESTROY COKE!
5. After that, if other players are not there (which is very often), get out of chopper and from a safe distance snipe the guys near coke. There are 2 of them.
6. Get the coke yourself or just kick back and wait for others to do it.

If you're doing this solo (very easy to do - only earns you about 14k in fifteen minutes, however) then blow up the other jet before leaving. These are left here for the AI to chase you with later, so if you blow one up now you'll have a safer journey.

 

If you are going solo, then once you kill the two targets crash into the ground near the dropped case. You'll lose one of your lives but you won't have a wanted rating any more. After that it's a simple case of calling your mechanic and speeding back to Madrazo's place.

You can also pull into the airport via the stunt jump, and take a quick right to either destroy or preferably for me, shoot the tail rotor off of the buzzard that an npc gets in and attacks you with after you get the coke. That npc will still try to fly his helicopter if it doesn't have a tail rotor and he'll just kill himself.

I noticed this thing once, I stole the buzzard that spawns in the heli spot (not the 2 outside the hangar) and used it to kill everyone. After that I parked it in the hangrr as I went to grab the coke. As soon as I grabbed the coke an enemy spawned inside the heli I was using and started flying around the hangar. Probably because ive used the heli that chases you when u get the coke

True dat. And hats off to the jagoffs that go careening into the base and trigger the jets before anyone can get to them, lol.

Also, the jet at the base can be sniped from the highway. Just be careful to do it just before the trigger gets set off. You can snipe the jet, have someone in the air trigger the corona and mini-gun or RPG the DA's car. It's sort of a bummer how easy this mission is now.

Yep. Thats why if you're going to use it and park it, make sure to sticky it. Otherwise, you have one bad mama-jama to contend with after you get the coke.

Well, something I've been trying recently is to escape the wanted level just by flying the jet up and over the ocean. Then, once the police have lost interest, try to land the Lazer on the highway beside the case.

Or leave the Jets alone and just pick up your buzzard! Then you wont have to crash the jet and waste a live and you'll have a helicopter to fly the case to Martins.

Better get to them before the other players break into Zancudo, otherwise they'll take off and leave you behind lol. Sometimes if I'm not sure I'll make it in time I call in the buzzard just in case...

lsc is my favorite mission and i play it everyday solo with my eyes closed as i know when and where enemies will pop up,,, blow up the chopper and plane at airport., then go to hanger.. and just snipe or zentorno all enemies inside hanger...

This mission could easily been done on hard and solo if you know what to do.
