I think you misread sir. All money is carried over BUT cash card money IF it was bought on a different company system.

i.e. PS3 -> PS4 = cash card money transfers., 360-> one = cash card money transfers., 360->ps4 = no cash card money transferred, but all other money still is.

 

It's crazy as hell and I'm sure it's because of MS and Sony not because of R*.

Uh, so the post in this thread saying "transfer before the end of February 2015." Is that true? Or is it from: own opinion/rumours/speculation surrounding codes which shown up for (I guess, 2014 x-mass) DLC.

Could you post me a link (if any) from Rockstar announcing the feature. Even a link (if any) from established gaming sites (not forums), it be much appreciated.

 

I'm not saying you/others who speculate this feature or deadline transfer date are right or wrong. I would like to find some more information (nothing shows up in Google for me) about this "new cheater system" floating around in speculation ONLY threads from 2014 x-mass DLC codes shown through a mod/hackers Twitter account.

I am curious about why you said/speculate, "it will be the DEADLINE for players" who not made the transfer across consoles and possibly PC.

I did some glitches. Wasn't around for the Hooker glitch but I did the car selling glitches, Cargobob peagasis glitch, and the hovering the heli over the cap beacon. I also farmed the hell out of Coveted but I truly loved that mission.

 

I have multiple PS3s one of them is CFW. Never once did I even consider using cheat tools for CFW. I even bought the game legit for it (4x copies to date including 1x PS4)

 

Even dirty ass cheaters like me have some standards.. dunno how common that is among my ilk.

*Just like to add there are things you can do with CFW that don't involve cheating and pirating.

There were countless threads about all those things I did when they were taking place. Heck there were meet up threads to dupe cars here... I'm to be ashamed now?

* That hooker glitch was fairly recent. I had to search this very forum to find out what it was about.. since that sounded to good to not have knowledge about what happened.

 

**There's a damn thread about the guy SELLING straight up CFW-type cheats he will do for you if you give him your account. It's the hottest thread on this forum for the last week.

 

*** I've never had a problem with my CFW PS3 for 3 years or so... because I've never used multiplayer cheats or pirated a game. It goes on the internet just fine and always has.. requires a bit of trickory to spoof my FW version... Fire up a pirated game or some hacking tool and the PSN + Console ID will probably be banned in a month or less.

I did get reported a few times for flying the 747 in Free Roam, I had to stop before I got tossed in the cheaters pool.

To each their own, cheat or not is your decision. But please don't report anyone. R* will not give you anything for reporting cheaters glitches except ban a player who deserve to play as much as the rest of us. We suppose to stick together. I kno someone can't just let it be..so don't chew my head off to hard.

I have never cheated or glitched, but could care less if others glitched themselves billions. Good for them if it makes them happy. It does make me laugh tho when I hear "some" people complaining that they're bored and there's nothing for them to do in the game anymore. I'm willing to bet these complaints come from glitchers who have bought everything there is to buy in the game and must rely on DLC's to have new goals provided for them in the game.

this would only be true if there was some way of having your GTA$ transfered back to your real life bank acount.

if i gold plated a turd and sold it for a thousand bucks it would still be a turd.

By the sounds of things they are beefing up the anti cheating system on the new boxes, not only for transfers but on an ongoing basis. I suspect that they were caught off guard with all the exploits and other stuff and it's taken a while to get the designed and written.

 

As things progress I think it will become harder to glitch and cheat, with additional checking code both at the front end and in the database at the backend.

 

I want to believe that. But where there's a will, there's a cheat...my prediction: it will clean things up for a while, but the cheats will continue.

 

Hacks vs. glitches: This is a legitimately interesting debate; but one in which I will quickly state which side I'm on: glitches. Why? First, some definitions are in order, as there is a fundamental difference between them:

A hack involves intentional, malicious modification with external tools or code by an individual or group of individuals to manipulate software at the programming level.

A glitch, on the other hand, is an existing design failure or bug within the developer's own software that does not require or involve any modification to the software. It exists only because it has not yet been identified and corrected by the developer.

IMO Rockstar are digging a hole for themselves by treating players who discover glitches (and post them on YouTube) as hackers and punishing them. It is their own faulty code that needs fixing. Not the gamers who discovered them. Granted, few of us may agree with what they're doing with the glitches, but remember that they are, in effect, acting as R*'s biggest—and most thorough—group of belated beta testers. If they are hacking, then by all means ban their accounts permanently or send them directly to the cheater's pool. But if they discover something within the game that's not working right, then thank them for it and fix it quickly. We're living in the information age, so of course it's going to be on YouTube for all to see—including R*...so they have zero excuses not to suck it up and fix it.

R*'s code is their problem, and GTA5 becomes more robust when those glitches are discovered, posted in a public place, and subsequently fixed. And perhaps if they worked harder to monitor YouTube for glitches and/or hired people to solely test for glitches, those bugs wouldn't be there very long. R* will make more money by maintaining goodwill toward the majority of their gamers than they'll 'save' by sending them to the "cheater's" pool for punishment (which should be reserved for hackers).

I am not against any glitch/mod/hack except they ruin the game of others.

 

Modding plates or modding the cars which donot have LSC mods will not harm anybody in this game or doing some money glitches for not paying to R* shark cards will not change anything for other players.

 

But using god mods, exploding peoples car, making people dance in free roam will ruin this game and need to be punished for sure.

I can't think of a bigger weenie defense than that. If you seriously think 1.2 million dollars is worth 20 dollars, you're a sucker. The prices for a lot of things in GTA: Online are vastly inflated compared to their GTA V counterpart. I'm not against Cash Card use, but if you seriously think their income depends on the in-game dollars and isn't just a micro-transaction to fluff up revenue, you're either a fool or you got the wool over your eyes hard. If I draw on a piece of paper and demand you pay me 20 dollars for it, you'd call it crazy. Same applies here, they're just a way to stretch out GTA V's maximum cash value to Rockstar and little else. If you truly believe the in-game currency is their lifeblood, then explain why you can earn money in-game without paying real world currency. Investing a little time in the game to earn a couple hundred thousand or give real cash for instant gratification: IE Shark Cards.
