Most of our stats are f*cked up from the billionaire days and I see a lot of wrongful bans coming for new users on christmas. Gonna hurt rockstar quite a bit.

you can glitch the spoiler off the phoenix in LSC without having to bring one in from SP. you need to buy an optional spoiler and then use the d pad to quickly press up and down at the same time to cycle between the stock spoiler and the optional one. it takes a little bit of timing but you need to stop when it's on the stock spoiler and it will glitch the spoiler off. same glitch works for the hood and fenders on the hotknife.

Last week a modder teleported to sandy shores tazed crew leader blew my car up. I was passive depositing money after the mission, then he teleported away. Checked his rank 7999 took pics reported to Rockstar via email. Two days later I get an email saying I've been banned due to RP glitching. Um wtf? I don't think so! Mailed them back told them they sent the email to the wrong player and guess what the offenders ban will be lifted Dec 23rd... But I myself is not banned booted PS3 and PS4, I'm fine. So they made a mistake yet only giving these types of players a slap on the wrist...smh -_-'

 

if writing is walking, then this is sprinting with 2 left feet tied together, in combination with a complete lack of motor skills.

I used a money glitch a few months ago, still got 33 mill or so. Never been put in even a bad sports lobby.

 

I got away clean, why? cuz I put my getaway car in a safe spot!!!

well they punished the "big fishes" they would say... exploiter, dns-server, 3rd party tools - but glitcher? there are just to many of them... going through all the backup-data would take months and to begin another old discussion is it really the communities fault if they glitch? (using loops in the code) - objectively u could say it's R* task to offer us a clean code were u can't abuse code fragments... changing files is another story thats not their fault – every 3rd party tool user deserves a ban in my opinion.

Believe me, a lot of players here on the forums stated that they're not going to play without at least rank and stats transfer. There was a discussion about WHAT will transfer, but R* made it clear that the transfer itself is a go. Ranking up for casual players (and hello, they're the most solvent customers) is a pain in the ass after a 1+ year.

 

Back on topic: I can clearly say that more people were punished for blowing up PVs and leaving missions than for glitching.

How so? Ive not heard of this new fangled system of theirs and I just brought over twenty million of not so honest cash. Still playing and have spent over half on a new character.

By the sounds of things they are beefing up the anti cheating system on the new boxes, not only for transfers but on an ongoing basis. I suspect that they were caught off guard with all the exploits and other stuff and it's taken a while to get the designed and written.

 

As things progress I think it will become harder to glitch and cheat, with additional checking code both at the front end and in the database at the backend.

I don't like correcting people OP, but the bad sport and cheaters pool are two totally separate entities. The only thing they share in common are the white dunce hats. There are quite a few people ( not all ) in the bad sport pool who are legit players, who are nothing more than rocket, or sticky bomb happy, and wouldn't want to be categorized as a cheat.

I'm telling you right now that, if you have a decent amount of legit money, you need to transfer your account before February.

Every day that I play, more and more people are admitting they are rich from modders.

Rockstar will allow this until they've sold all of their Christmas units and allowed time for store exchanges etc, but they will announce a deadline for transfer WITH all of your money soon enough. And to those who actually have tons of glitched money, I cannot guarantee that you will not be punished if you DO try and transfer your illegitimate funds. All I do know is that I said modded money would end up flooding GTA Online in the months of December and January as a way to justify doing another money-wipe after the Christmas holidays.

R* can tell if it's been gifted to you...so they could just ban people who hacked it or hooker glitched it, etc.Each to their own but I think as long as you keep you're head down and don't be a dick they don't mind people doing some glitch/save modding.

 

If it doesn't affect anyone what's the problem, you can get Buzzards(on the map) and dlc weapons way better than day one people so they encourage people to take the shortest route.

 

Edit to add most of the "cheating" I did was to get low end cars from Sp so I didn't need to race for mods again on my second character, sh*tty feature forcing you to do something you don't want to.

To be honest, I have a modded console, and a separate PSN account for modding. I just look at all the stuff I get away with, and still continue to do so.

I have one account with over 6 billion, and I get reported all the time for just general f*ckery. Hell, I even got filmed and put onto youtube for blatant modding. All I got was a 2 weeks in the Cheaters Pool, which was rescinded after I opened a ticket.

They had a really lax approach on the PS3/360. They just didn't seem to care about cheaters and modders.

I had used the LSC glitch, I was one of the first to use it as when it first came out it was shared between a group.

 

Made 780 mil from that glitch and got it all took apart from 5 mil lol.

 

Did the hooker glitch and made about 300 mil after quite some time and then got my whole character reset.

 

Then after all that I was gifted 900 mil by a random just before I stopped playing and when I transferred my character to ps4 I got reset again ffs.

That joke did my night. Do you remember Red dead redemption? Max Payne 3 with multiplayer trainers? They are not concerned about cheaters, if you're not clearing billions. Which is, in fact, absolutely retarded, because there is neither real economy in the game with ability to redistribute wealth nor a commodities/ services to spend them on properly. I can recall playing in billionaire days on 360, it was easier to get BS for PV destruction than to spend your money on that.
